It is the official policy of the United States government that there are only two genders: male & female.

So if I, an adult man, film my partner, another adult man, consensually sitting on my face, I can go to prison. To protect women and girls?

Porn is an unpopular thing to defend. Yet although England’s stricter rules will please moralists, they should alarm anyone who cares about freedom of speech or government overreach economist.com/leaders/2026/1…

She needs to be recalled. She has admitted she has no idea how the law she wrote herself, that affects us all, will be applied because she didn’t consult lawyers or experts before putting it forward and voting on it. Flagrant incompetence and abuse of her position.
Replying to @CobaltCherry
That is exactly what should be left to courts and experts to prove. All legislation requires interpretation alongside the facts of the case and the intention of the law. This is designed to ensure that harmful practices are discouraged.

It is the responsibility of elected MPs to make clear, precise laws, not pass vague legislation and leave judges to fill in the gaps while people's lives, liberty and futures hang in the balance.

You don’t have to approve of everything people do in private to understand that it’s none of the government’s business.
What consenting adults watch, film or do behind closed doors should not be for politicians to regulate.
That’s what living in a free country means.

Nothing to do with being “porn-addled”.
It’s about resisting a nanny state dictating what consenting adults can do in private.
Under this law, even private (!) oral sex videos could get you criminalised.
Keep the state out of our bedrooms.

>banning categories of porn because Labour MPs are prudish dullards
>online safety act making the Internet increasingly unusable
>now blocking young ppl from even talking online
How is no political party making the case against this? It's just pure nanny state nonsense.

Dear @DeadbyDaylight @Behaviour:
You told a streamer “WE CAN TAKE THE HEAT. THEY ARE YOURS TO KEEP.” Then you folded the moment a vocal portion of your community demanded it.
You gifted TheBurntPeanut content during his first stream, then treated unfounded and exaggerated claims about his character as gospel. You stripped the content, issued statements that effectively accepted the framing that associating with him with violated your values, and apologized to the people who were most offended. All-the-while the employee who made the call was being doxxed and threatened by that same community you were kneeling in front of.
You did not meaningfully defend your own staff. You did not require evidence before punishing the streamer and his audience, or admonishing them all publicly as if they were some toxin. You did not stand by the clear statement your official account made. Instead you rewrote the rules after the fact to prioritize the loudest moral demands over process, fairness, and basic employee protection.
In no way was this leadership. It was capitulation. A company that claims to value its community should not treat one segment’s outrage as the final word, nor leave its own people exposed while it grovels to the mob. An apology is owed... to Peanut, to his community for the baseless character attacks you legitimized, and especially to the employee you failed to defend.
Do better.

And now I’m here on Oxford Street, London on my way to this morning’s photoshoot and admiring the newly installed allahu akbarriers, just in time to keep Christmas shoppers safe from Muslims with mental health issues who want to drive into pedestrians and kill them.
