Javits was 15 and had come to the United States from Ghana for a brighter future and better education, living with his father in New York, but his life was tragically taken just one day after October 28 marked one year since his arrival. The fundraiser is already bringing people together to help his father and family with funeral, burial, and unexpected expenses, and Iโm grateful to everyone who has supported them so far.
