Two undefeated Class AAA teams met on Friday night. Pierz and Albany both entered 3-0, but this game quickly became a test of which team could impose its style when it mattered most.

Two undefeated teams. One battle for the top of Section 6AA. Osakis and Holdingford went toe-to-toe in a defensive showdown on homecoming night, with both teams making every yard hard to come by. This one came down to who could make the biggest play when it mattered most.

Three straight meetings. Three games decided on the final play. Stewartville and Kasson-Mantorville delivered another instant classic, with the Tigers erasing a 13-0 deficit and surviving a wild double-overtime finish to win 21-19. After two heartbreaking losses to Kasson-Mantorville last season, Stewartville finally got one back in a matchup that lived up to the rivalry.

From 1-8 to 3-0. Wayzata has completely flipped the script this season, and their 28-20 win over St. Michael-Albertville was another sign that this team looks nothing like it did a year ago. With Eli Diane back on the field and momentum building, the Trojans are quickly becoming one of the most interesting teams to watch in Minnesota high school football.
