The more shows I attend the more I realize how much the energy in the room matters for a good show. I plan on slowing down the music travel next year, so definitely gonna be more picky about when/where I go.
Hot take: Meh show outside of Madhuvan. Considering it felt like more of a party crowd both nights I think they adjusted to the energy in the room.
I still say if you’re a pit person (or very anti-pit), the best place to experience it at any show is far enough away from aggressive rail riders but not too far back where there are people there to chomp and not appreciate the music. Varies on the pit and day of the week.
This theatre is one of the rare ones where the soundboard in the pit is a bad idea. The way the pit is sectioned off you can get pinned against the back easily. Plus you’re under the upper seats and it muffles the sound.
