I think praying to get right, goes without saying as the exception to the stmt. The obvious implication, is that many “pray to God” and never consider how they’re disobeying Him in other areas. And the Bible says to that: - Proverbs 28:9 “He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.” - Psalm 66:18 “If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me”
