Hey, hi, hello there! I'm Lew (or Lewie). I'm new and looking to meet some awesome people who share my love of horror, sci-fi, movies, and gaming. I'm here for genuine conversations, good vibes, and new friends. If that sounds like your kind of thing, let's be mutuals!

Wasn’t deemed worthy enough for balloons on here, but today’s my 35th birthday! 🎈

Now Watching 🍿
Child’s Play (1988)
Rewatch 🔄 I’m pretty sure this is the only Child’s Play movie I’ve seen before, but it’s time for a rewatch! I might work my way through the rest of the franchise too. We’ll see… 😅

Now Watching 🍿
Strange Harvest (2024)
First Watch 👀 This one’s been on my watchlist for a while now. Love a good mockumentary!

I’m probably gonna get shit for this, but I actually liked the remake. The darker, more fucked up vibes worked for me. Kyle Gallner and Jackie Earle Haley were great. I just wish Nancy was better and it had fully committed to doing its own thing instead of imitating the original.

Now Watching 🍿
A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)
First Watch 👀 So we’ve finally made it to the notoriously hated remake. The one that almost everyone seems to rank dead last in this iconic franchise. Will we end on a high note, or will I hate it? 🤔

This movie is pure unadulterated 2000s trash, but it’s fun trash. Easily the most enjoyable movie in the franchise since Dream Warriors. Freddy is damn near perfect, Jason is badass, and the story is surprisingly pretty neat. I just wish the acting and CGI were better… 😬

Freddy vs. Jason (2003)
Rewatch 🔄 Can’t sleep because my neck is killing me, so fuck it, we ball! I know I’ve seen this one before, but couldn’t tell you a damn thing about it. Hopefully it’ll take my mind off the pain! 🤘🏻

Freddy rocking that sweet duster was badass. I’m sure Charlie, Mac, and Dennis would approve. 😂 I dug the meta aspect. You can totally see the DNA of Scream here! I also loved having Heather and some of the OGs back, but my god, the kid annoyed me, and I needed more Freddy… 😩

I love being in my 30s… I woke up and stretched, now my neck is fucked. 😑

Now Watching 🍿
Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994)
First Watch 👀 Please be good… Please be good… I don’t know if I can handle another Dream Child or Freddy’s Dead. 😭

I’m going to keep it real with y’all… This movie is awful. Truly awful. Yet, dare I say, I had more fun with it than I did with Dream Child?! 😭 Both are terrible, but at least this one wasn’t as boring. Felt like a Freddy x Looney Tunes crossover. Never watching either again!

Now Watching 🍿 Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991) First Watch 👀 Don’t really have much to say going into this one. Dream Master and Dream Child were rough, but you guys are telling me this one is even worse… I guess I’ll find out. Wish me luck! 😰

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse, it got worse… What the fuck happened?! 😭 The motorcycle scene was cool, but that’s about it. Bad editing, bad acting, bad effects, stupid story, and Freddy is a joke. The drop-off from Dream Warriors needs to be studied…

Now Watching 🍿
A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (1989)
First Watch 👀 Even though I wasn’t a fan of The Dream Master, I’m going into this one with an open mind and hoping for a return to form. Or so I keep telling myself… 😅

Yikes… I guess they can’t all be winners. The recast Kristen sucks, I didn’t care about any of the new characters, and the way they handled Joey and Roland felt almost disrespectful. A couple of cool kills and practical effects can’t save it. What a disappointment! ☹️

Now Watching 🍿
A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988)
First Watch 👀 I’ve been having so much fun watching this iconic horror franchise for the first time, but I think it’ll be hard to top Dream Warriors for me. Still excited to see what’s next, though!

Y’all… I fucking loved this movie! Easily my favorite of the franchise so far. It felt like a true sequel to the original and was an absolute blast from start to finish. The practical effects were incredible, and Freddy dropping one-liners left and right had me dying! 😂

Now Watching 🍿
A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987)
First Watch 👀 I’ve been really looking forward to this one since so many of you say it’s your favorite of the franchise! Let’s see if it lives up to the hype. Show me what ya got, Freddy! 🤘🏻
