What if they just serve us; all the time, everywhere?
It doesn't make a scary Hollywood movie, but it would be wonderful.
This is among the possibilities.

I don’t care who you are, for the love of God and sanity, CUT THE CABLE!
The “NEWS” channels, on both sides, keep us agitated with selective reporting, distorted narratives, and manufactured outrage. There business is less about informing us and more about keeping us watching.

Cheap electricity is necessary to personal prosperity.
We want all forms of economically viable power production.
Low cost electricity puts more goods and services within everyone's reach.
More power. More abundance. Better lives.
Europeans pay a lot more for gasoline and diesel, but their electricity is also priced much higher than in the States.
Good folks should not be squeezed.
As a Tesla owner and shareholder, I am genuinely grateful to Waymo.
For 17 years, Waymo has invested billions of dollars pioneering autonomous transportation. It has delivered millions of paid rides and helped establish the regulatory pathways for commercial robotaxis, including access to airports.
Waymo demonstrated that driverless transportation is technically possible, commercially desirable, and legally achievable. That is an extraordinary accomplishment.
Now Tesla is rapidly building on that foundation with a radically different economic model designed for affordability and massive scale.
I am pleased for my friends and neighbors who drive gasoline vehicles.
Gas in my area is down some.
In my Cybertruck, I now travel 76 miles on electricity for the price of one gallon of gasoline. That's down from 82 miles recently and a high of 91.
My actual cost remains the same, but the disparity has shrunk.
Good folks should not be squeezed.

Tesla and SpaceX operate on a fundamentally different principle than many traditional companies:
Minimize the distance between the people who know what's happening and the people who can do something about it.
Traditional corporate hierarchies emphasize control, reporting relationships, and clearly defined authority.
Musk emphasizes engineering, speed, direct communication, and accountability for results.
The advantage isn't simply having fewer managers.
It's having the shortest path for truth.
Electricity is the enabling root of our prosperity.
We need ALL forms of economically viable production.
More is better, and too much is the right amount.
For centuries, machines multiplied human physical productivity, dramatically increasing economic output and prosperity. But those machines depended on human intelligence to direct their work.
Now AI and robotics multiply both physical and intellectual productivity, progressively shifting the constraints on producing of goods and services toward energy and physical resources.
In the age of AI, abundant, inexpensive electricity is one of a nation's greatest economic advantages.
More energy → More intelligence → More production → Greater abundance → Better lives.
I don't care who you are, Tesla Full Self Driving (FSD) will win you over when you personally experience it.
Nico Rosberg, F1 World Champion & founder of Rosberg Ventures, has been testing Cybertruck with FSD(S) around San Francisco, and says "it’s been LIFE-CHANGING!"
"My whole racing career, I was the one in control behind the wheel. But I’m now fully willing to hand over control"

A couple of days ago, after a software update, I lost the ability to command my Cybertruck by voice and boy, was I upset!
I had to manually select my destinations from a long list of previous trips. If I had needed to go someplace new, I would have had to type it in to use FSD. Type not talk!
I put in a service request on the app that evening. Everything was working fine the next morning.
We adapt quickly to AI because it is so darn useful, and this little event made me realize that having it snatched away feels like arriving in stupid land.
Talking to our bots and having our robots serve us is the way.
Good info on ASML’s EUV chip maker and the extreme engineering needed to ship it.
Solar panels and batteries are cheap enough that economics, rather than policy is driving their adoption.
China dominates the manufacturing of both technologies, along with much of the processing and refining of the critical minerals behind them.
This gives China enormous domestic capability as well as global influence, but it is different from the power oil gave the Gulf states.
Oil is burned; solar panels are installed. Cut oil supplies and economies can stall within weeks. Interrupt solar panel shipments and existing installations keep producing electricity for decades. China's leverage is over future capacity, not today's energy supply.
OPEC restricted supply to support high prices. China's massive manufacturing capacity drives prices down, sometimes below its own producers' costs. And while oil fields cannot be duplicated, factories can. Other nations are building competing industries, although China's dominance in mineral refining remains a formidable advantage.
Artificial intelligence adds urgency to this transition. For centuries, energy amplified human muscle. Now electricity is amplifying human intelligence.
America must respond with the urgency of a nation that understands what is at stake. Build the factories. Secure the minerals. Unleash electricity production. The US must lead in AI. The future will not wait.
Understanding the Monty Python “Let’s Make a Deal” problem.
Three doors. One car. You pick a door, and the host opens another to show a goat. Should you switch?
Yes. Switching means betting your first pick was wrong, and your first pick is wrong 2 times out of 3.
The race toward Superintelligence (SI) is a race to generate electricity. Data centers need enormous amounts of power faster than the electrical grid can deliver it. That means building off-grid power generation using natural gas turbines.
Elon Musk identified a bottleneck: the turbine blades. Manufacturers can deliver virtually the entire turbine 12 to 18 months before these critical components are available. Only a few companies have the specialized casting technology needed.
SpaceX is applying its advanced rocket-engine casting expertise to producing turbine blades internally, with the goal of bringing gigawatts of power online up to 18 months sooner.
In the race toward SI, something as small as a turbine blade is a crucial factor in how fast the future arrives.
Any pilot could start on his tail. Within 40 seconds, John Boyd would have him in his gunsight. By most accounts, he never lost.
Then he helped give us the F-16 and the OODA loop: whoever thinks and acts faster wins. Self-driving cars echo it today.
A good report on Cybertruck battery degradation.

What happens to the value of a car that still needs a driver?
The market won't value automobiles according to yesterday's capabilities for long as more buyers experience Full Self-Driving.
The automobile industry is heading toward the biggest depreciation slide in its history.
The only question is how fast.
