What an emotional day for our nation
And what an amazing job by @metpoliceuk & all the forces keeping mourners safe (including a large delegation from @DC_Police )
In the face of so much negativity about our police, we need to recognise the fantastic work today, and everyday

Well done to the Royal Navy and all involved in the funeral - have done Her Majesty proud.

Please never forget the sacrifice and endurances my friends and colleagues went through to achieve this. We will remember them. God Save the Queen!
Always remembered shipmates ⚓️🚁
#OTD 40 years ago @RoyalNavy HMS Antelope exploded and sank after an unexploded bomb detonated. Joe Morton, now 64 & a civil servant at Culdrose, said "I remember the shipmates we lost but it was still worth it. If you need to fight for democracy, then so be it." #Falklands40
Getting a bit fed up of all the ACP bashing, we’re here to support the medical team, not take over, we’re all here for the patients. Give us a break please, we’ve worked hard to get where we are!
Scary procedure made easy……. ! 💪

#OnThisDay 1968 the first @RoyalNavy Polaris missile was fired from HMS RESOLUTION off Cape Kennedy. The missile was in service with the RN until HMS REPULSE was retired in 1996. Polaris had a range of 2,500 miles at speeds of 8,000 MPH and was replaced with the Trident D5.
