WE WERE THERE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE AR FILTER ERA. Today, real-time face filters are ordinary. In 2015, they were not. Snapchat was already growing rapidly, but 2015 became a turning point. In September, it acquired Looksery — a company founded by a Ukrainian team with development in Odesa — and integrated its real-time face-tracking technology. It became the technological foundation for Snapchat Lenses. The timing matters. Snapchat grew from about 89M daily active users in June 2015 to 148M a year later — +66%. By the end of 2016, it had reached 158M. Lenses were not the only driver, but they became one of the products that defined Snapchat’s transformation into a camera-first platform. Our team was there at the beginning. Working through the Looksery team after the acquisition, we became one of the early teams developing real-time 3D face masks for Snapchat. Ideas. Characters. 3D. CGI. Digital sculpting. Hard-surface modeling. Textures. Animation. Motion. Real-time assets. A mask had to work as an idea, survive facial deformation and expression tracking, animate correctly — and perform in real time within the limits of 2015 mobile hardware. Most of what we created remains under NDA. But one piece escaped it. Before the NDA was signed, we created an experimental steampunk mask. It later became part of a larger steampunk collection developed during the collaboration. That first test is the fragment we can finally show publicly. There is another reason we were ready for this work. By 2015, our team already had deep expertise in 3D, CGI, characters, animation and complex digital production — a stack still rare among digital studios. Much of this technology then lived closer to game development. We had worked with game studios, including Wargaming under NDA, and visited its headquarters in Belarus at the time. We did not enter AR filters after they became an industry. We worked on them while the category was being built. CASE — Before The Filter Era — 3D AR Masks: behance.net/gallery/25288037… Our capabilities have multiplied since then. Need 3D/CGI characters, product visualization or design, interactive 3D/WebGL websites, complex motion, AR concepts, real-time assets, product/service presentations, launch visuals, educational videos or technical animation? John Nash: When Reason Cannot Fully Trust Itself - This paper examines the life of mathematician #JohnNash Jr., separating the real history from the version shown in #ABeautifulMind, whose visual #hallucinations were a cinematic device rather than an account of what #Nash experienced. Drawing on his autobiographical essay for the #NobelPrize, it traces how his mental disturbances began in early 1959 while he was on the MIT faculty, when he was diagnosed with what was then called #paranoidschizophrenia. The central argument is that extraordinary intelligence offers no guarantee of reliable judgment, because the same mind that produced foundational work in game theory could also build coherent but untenable beliefs about the world - disabled-world.com/disabilit…

WE BUILT BEFORE THE SCALE EXISTED. GR Capital came to us in early 2017, shortly after its 2016 founding. The team was still forming. It was much closer to a startup investment fund than the pan-European venture platform it would become. There was no mature brand system to redesign. We had to help define the first one. We built the fund’s first coherent visual identity and corporate website: positioning, visual language, information architecture, UX/UI and the digital structure through which founders, investors and partners would encounter the company. Then the scale arrived. GR Capital went on to build a portfolio across European technology. Its investment history includes Glovo, Deliveroo, Lime and wefox; its current portfolio includes Billie, Sennder, McMakler, Alma, PlanRadar and WorkMotion.  By 2022, Forbes reported €200M in assets under management, an $85M first fund invested across 14 startups, and a second fund targeting €100M. The interesting part is not that a startup became a serious investment platform. It is that we had to design for the company it had not become yet. Good branding does not imitate scale. It creates a system capable of carrying scale when it arrives. FIVE YEARS LATER, THE SYSTEM STILL WORKS. Grantit is a Hong Kong fintech founded in 2017, focused on digital lending infrastructure, onboarding and mobile-first financial services. By August 2021, the company reported 22,000+ customers and HK$370M in cumulative loan requests, while its growth and rebranding were already being covered by international fintech media. When Grantit came to Deep Digital Co, the product was already live and had a real user base, but the company was still at the startup stage. The next phase required more than a collection of graphics. It needed a visual system capable of working across the product, onboarding, website, marketing, presentations and motion without fragmenting into separate styles. At Deep Digital Co, we built that system. We developed a complete visual language around the new brand narrative: custom 2D and 3D iconography, characters, onboarding scenes, motion graphics, storytelling sequences and a modular environment based on consistent geometry, colour, lighting and movement. The same logic connected product interfaces, communication materials and brand expression into one scalable system. The work was deployed across Grantit’s website, application, onboarding flows and supporting communications. The project later received a Behance editorial feature in the 3D Animation category. Five years later, the award is no longer the most interesting part. In 2026, our visual language is still being used across Grantit’s official website and application. The same system we created when the company had 22,000+ customers now operates inside a live product serving 100,000+ users. 22,000+ → 100,000+. The product scaled. The visual system scaled with it. That is the difference between producing assets and building infrastructure. FROM PAPER TO 10,000+ GAMES Another startup. Another domain. This time, a fairly closed one: iGaming. The industry is structurally insular. In many cases, iGaming companies prefer to work with people and teams who already have experience inside the industry. Before JustCasino, our team had never worked in iGaming. JustCasino came to us almost as an idea on paper. They were not wrong. Today, JustCasino is an international online casino platform operated by Just Entertainment B.V. in Curaçao and licensed by the Curaçao Gaming Authority. It offers more than 10,000 games across slots, live casino and table games, supports both fiat and crypto payments, and serves players internationally subject to jurisdictional restrictions. We started with product logic and information architecture. Then we moved directly into the design itself. We proposed several visual directions, including concepts that went far beyond the standard visual language of online casinos. In the end, the client chose a more classic iGaming foundation: dark surfaces, strong CTA elements, large promotional areas and a highly visible game catalogue. But we built one thing that became the product’s signature and remains recognizable today: the cosmic narrative. Space was not just decoration. It became the connective layer across navigation, promotional zones, visual accents and the overall atmosphere. More importantly, we built a clear hierarchy of attention inside an environment where almost everything competes for attention at once. Games. Bonuses. Promotions. Payments. Account actions. Conversion triggers. Navigation. Everything wants to be first. Our job was to make the system readable without making it weak. As the platform scaled, the product was repeatedly expanded and modified by the internal team. Some parts became stronger, some less coherent. But the original architecture, core interaction principles and visual signature are still clearly visible. That is what matters. A visual style can be replaced quickly. A strong structural idea survives teams, redesigns and years of product evolution. Just Casino — Information Architecture & Web Design: behance.net/gallery/25279833… Our team has developed dozens of complex information architectures across very different domains — from media platforms and job services to financial systems and large digital products. If you are building a product with complex processes behind it, but the user still needs a clear, understandable and well-structured experience — you know who to call. ;) We don’t bite. #iGaming #ProductDesign #InformationArchitecture #UXDesign #DigitalProducts #Startups #ProductStrategy #DigitalTransformation

CARTS GURU — FROM AN IDEA ON PAPER TO A GLOBAL SAAS PLATFORM Another startup that came to our team almost at the level of an idea on paper: Carts Guru — carts.guru. The founders discovered us through our AWWWARDS recognition. They wanted positioning, product logic, and digital infrastructure strong enough to prevent the project from becoming another startup that disappeared into a drawer. Founded by a French team and established in Barcelona, Carts Guru grew into a SaaS marketing automation platform for e-commerce: multichannel customer communication, abandoned-cart recovery, segmentation, automated journeys, analytics, email and SMS. Today the company states that it works with 1,000+ e-commerce businesses worldwide and integrates directly with major platforms including Shopify, PrestaShop, and Magento.  We started with branding. We explored dozens of directions — from literal “gurus” meditating with laptops to much less predictable concepts. Eventually we created the stylized shopping-cart identity that remains at the core of the brand. Then came the character. We designed a proprietary 2D character that became the visual engine of presentations for investors and early partners, illustrations, marketing materials, and the interactive promotional website explaining the technology. That website later received Special Kudos from CSS Design Awards. The character moved further into the company itself. It appeared alongside actual employees in the Team section — almost as the spirit of the startup. Then we moved inside the SaaS product. We developed the product logic, UX architecture, dashboards, statistics, notifications, reporting, user flows, and around a hundred screens and interface states. The character appeared there again — now as a personal assistant and guide. This was not branding followed by a website followed by UI. It was one connected system: identity, investor packaging, communication, product architecture, UX, interface logic, and digital infrastructure designed around a startup while it was still being formed. Brand Identity & Startup Character System: behance.net/gallery/25051796… Investor & Product Presentation System: behance.net/gallery/25052010… Promotional Website & Content Platform: behance.net/gallery/25052128… Marketing Automation SaaS for E-commerce: behance.net/gallery/25052254… Over the last few weeks, we’ve shown several startups our team helped shape at an early stage across completely different domains — projects that later grew into recognized players and category leaders. COMPLEX B2B INFRASTRUCTURE FOR B2B INFRASTRUCTURE. YES, THAT’S A THING. New day — new post. New startup story. BizzGrid was a Swedish startup that came to our team almost immediately after its launch with an ambitious idea: rethink how B2B events actually work. Instead of organizers producing a fixed program and businesses simply consuming it, BizzGrid created a feedback loop between both sides. Organizers could collect interests, requests and business objectives while an event was still being shaped. Onsite, content, networking and interactions could then adapt around the actual commercial goals of participating companies. Our task was to turn that model into working digital infrastructure. We developed the platform architecture, event calendars, content and event-management logic, networking flows, audience interaction mechanics and integrations. Behind it was a fully custom Laravel administration system built specifically around BizzGrid’s operational model and connected to Google Calendar and several external services. The frontend pushed the product much further. Instead of assembling another B2B interface from standard components, we built an interactive environment where information architecture, motion, illustration and interface behavior worked as one system. Complex custom animation, original illustrated scenes, stickers and several dozen individually designed icons became functional parts of the experience. Illustration carried information. Motion communicated hierarchy and state. Transitions connected different layers of the platform. Design and development evolved simultaneously, with every visual decision having to survive real functionality, performance requirements and the backend architecture underneath. The result was a serious B2B platform with the character of an interactive digital experience. BizzGrid subsequently expanded beyond Sweden, developing into a cross-European event platform and working across multiple European markets. The project received Awwwards Honorable Mention and CSS Design Awards Special Kudos — recognition from two of the major international platforms showcasing and awarding some of the world’s best digital work. It was also recognized by other web competitions and featured in international digital and design media. DelivApp: We Built an Early Delivery Product Before Delivery Became Infrastructure We continue our line of startup stories. In 2017, DelivApp came to us at a very different stage from the company it is today. It was an early Israeli product focused on restaurant delivery — while the category was still moving from phone calls, manual coordination and SMS toward digital, real-time logistics. The timing matters. McKinsey estimated at the time that the traditional model still represented around 90% of the global food-delivery market, with almost three-quarters of those orders placed by phone. The Middle East was only beginning its online-delivery growth cycle. Our task looked relatively light: create the product website and web application. In practice, it became a compact but technically demanding product. We designed the UI/UX architecture and frontend environment, bringing restaurants, delivery information, statuses and operational data into one coherent experience. The product also had to work naturally in English and Hebrew — two opposite reading directions, LTR and RTL — without breaking hierarchy, navigation or interaction logic. Then came the supposedly “easy” part: real-time data. The existing API output required additional technical work so changing delivery data would display correctly on the frontend. A seemingly simple interface had to function as a live system, not a static shell. At that stage, it was already a functional early web-delivery product for the Israeli market: restaurant identities, core order and delivery data, real-time information, bilingual architecture and operational logic in one environment. Today, DelivApp is a very different company. It describes its platform as white-label ordering and delivery infrastructure and reports 3,000+ restaurants, 30,000+ couriers, 20+ delivery partners and more than 10 million orders processed. Its technology now covers online ordering, automated dispatch, real-time tracking, delivery orchestration, external fleet integration, APIs and webhooks. What came to us as an early-stage restaurant-delivery startup evolved into logistics infrastructure. Our collaboration also went beyond this project. Together with DelivApp’s CTO and co-founder, Michael Parshin, we later worked on several products across other sectors. The case below preserves a series of actual product screens from that stage. Nine years later, the company itself shows what happened next. See the full case: behance.net/gallery/24869759… If you are building an early-stage product and need a team capable of turning an unfinished idea, API or operating model into a coherent digital system, talk to Deep Digital Co. #DelivApp #Startup #ProductDesign #UXDesign #Logistics #DeliveryTech #DeepDigital

NKOR — Blockchain for Intellectual Property Before Web3 Became a Buzzword Another crypto startup came to us before launch. NKOR was an Israel/Gibraltar blockchain project at the intersection of intellectual property, copyright protection, digital data verification, content monetization, and crypto infrastructure. This was not another exchange, wallet, or speculative token story. The idea was sharper: use blockchain to help creators, companies, and rights owners prove ownership of digital assets — music, images, texts, software, datasets, creative files, and other data that can be copied instantly and distributed globally. Public coverage at the time described NKOR as a platform using Ethereum and unique identifiers to help IP owners prove ownership through “anchoring.” MediaPost also described it as a system designed to support copyright infringement cases by linking data to a specific blockchain-based record. For the early crypto cycle, this was unusually serious positioning. Not crypto as noise. Crypto as infrastructure for digital ownership. We developed a powerful pre-launch promo website for NKOR — a dark, premium, investor-oriented digital presentation explaining the project, product logic, roadmap, team, advisors, bounty program, and white paper. The visual language used deep blue, black, sharp yellow accents, blockchain-grid depth, coin motion, and a serious technological atmosphere. The product needed to feel like infrastructure, not another generic ICO landing page. Separate from the website, we also developed the investor presentation: a compact pitch structure translating the product, market logic, monetization potential, roadmap, and launch narrative into a format investors could process quickly. NKOR is a good example of how we worked with crypto and Web3 products before the market became flooded with identical promises, generic gradients, and empty “revolution” language. We were not just making screens. We helped complex technological products enter the market with structure, credibility, and premium international presentation. Case NKOR: behance.net/gallery/13171164… If your startup is preparing for launch, fundraising, investor communication, or a serious product presentation — DM us. THE MORE COMPLEX THE SYSTEM, THE SIMPLER IT MUST FEEL In the previous case, we showed a complex 3D promo film created during the early Web3 expansion cycle. This case shows the full structure behind Absolutus: a blockchain-oriented platform where information architecture, backend logic, access levels, user mechanics, and visual communication had to work as one system. Deep Digital Co joined the project at the technical brief stage, working with the client-side PM to shape the platform logic before execution. The scope included identity system, promo website, product interfaces, custom Laravel admin panel, backend architecture, Ethereum-based smart-contract integration, intranet, rating system, gamification mechanics, educational library, online events, moderation layers, and multi-level access for both administration and platform materials. The platform combined hierarchical referral structures, user-status logic, role-based permissions, statistics, internal content distribution, and network-growth mechanics. Teams were distributed across Ukraine, Russia, and Georgia. The core challenge was to build a complex information architecture with multi-level development across the entire system — and make it feel clear, usable, and accessible on the surface. No WHEN A 90-SECOND FILM BECOMES AN ENTIRE DIGITAL WORLD. During the boom of crypto and Web3 projects, we created Cybercube — a large-scale cinematic ecosystem built around esports, streaming, crypto mechanics, betting systems and virtual interaction. The idea was to make the viewer feel that they were moving through a functioning digital universe. Over roughly 90 seconds, the camera passes through dozens of locations, interfaces, models and characters. Screens open into other screens, environments transform into new environments, broadcast graphics become part of the architecture, and individual scenes continuously connect into one larger system. A huge amount of work sits behind that apparent continuity: 3D environments, character scenes, interface simulation, lighting, materials, animation, camera choreography, motion graphics and transitions between completely different spaces. The entire film had to preserve one visual language, one rhythm and one level of art direction from beginning to end. This is also why the project still feels technically relevant. Modern AI can generate extremely impressive isolated scenes, but maintaining this degree of detail, continuity, controlled transitions and consistent art direction across dozens of locations and characters over a long sequence remains a much more complex production task. Cybercube was conceived as a product world rather than a collection of effects. Every scene had its own purpose, while remaining part of a larger narrative architecture. The project deservedly received two Behance recognitions — 3D Animation and After Effects. And this is still far from the maximum of what our team can build. Cybercube — Cinematic 3D Ecosystem for Esports & Crypto: behance.net/gallery/71887525… If you need a high-end cinematic presentation for your product, website or project — or turnkey product development covering the full scope of tasks, from concept, strategy and architecture to design, 3D, motion, interfaces, production and final delivery — DM.
