Brooklyn-set WHEN I CONSUME YOU is admirable for its sheer ambition as a story however what makes it notable is it’s trio of terrific performances by @MacLeodAndrews, @EvanDumouchel, and especially @LibEwing. Take note! Yet another lovely Brooklyn Horror Fest screening.

"Perry Blackshear’s WHEN I CONSUME YOU leads its viewership down a winding tunnel of despair and depravity – making the horrors bubbling under the surface expected but still unrelentingly devastating." - @stephpbrown_'s final Fantasia review:

Loved talking with #WhenIConsumeYou's #PerryBlackshear, @MacLeodAndrews, @LibEwing, and @EvanDumouchel about #WhenIConsumeYou, a poignant, terrifying tale of revenge, filial devotion & the place of kindness in the world. World Premier 8/18 at @FantasiaFest

. @CAgovernor tell the CA Judicial Council NOT to rescind the $0 bail order -- #COVID19 is still spreading in jails & people are dying! Rescinding the order & keeping community in cages will mean more spread of virus & death! Do the right thing! #CareNotCages #FreeThemAll – at Los Angeles, CA

The murder by cops of #GeorgeFloyd in Minneapolis and 601 folks in LA County comes as a result of over-spending on police. Still @MayorOfLA wants to spend 54% of our general fund on LAPD. Tell City Council to reject the ADOPT THE PEOPLE'S BUDGET. #CareNotCops #PeoplesBudgetLA

Young people have helped lead all our great movements. How inspiring to see it again in so many smart, fearless students standing up for their right to be safe; marching and organizing to remake the world as it should be. We've been waiting for you. And we've got your backs.
