It’s not that he doesn’t care. It’s a deliberate display of calm. He is projecting a sense that everything is fine in order to minimize panic and therefore minimize reaction from the masses. Millions of normies will hear on the news about “Student Protests” that were mostly peaceful with several nondescript buildings spontaneously burning down at the same time, but that officials are on-scene and everything is under control. Then they will see images like this, staged as if captured by paparazzi, reinforcing the idea that there is nothing to be worried about. Like when I am with my kids, if there is a loud noise like thunder, they immediately look to me, and if I just smile calmly back at them, they relax, assured that whatever that noise was, it must not by dangerous. That’s how programmed the average person is. They will never think “The President is cynically (or maniacally) watching a concert while his country burns,” they will only think “the riots must not be that big of a deal, or else Macron wouldn’t be there.” You may be seeing dozens of videos of arson and vandalism across multiple cities of France. You are a vanishingly small percentage of the world. If you actually interpret the violence through the lens of Replacement Migration and Controlled Demolition, you are even more rare. The average person will only hear about this if it is forced onto their Apple News feed tomorrow morning, and it will be framed as a tragic consequence of the French people’s unwillingness to listen to the concerns of underprivileged students. And so in the end, no one will panic, no one will demand drastic reaction, and the slow burn destruction of the West will continue unabated. Macron is playing his role perfectly.
