Extremists in Florida are banning books, attempting to erase our history, and intend to teach our students that enslaved people benefited from slavery. It’s outrageous.

Has this person never had to tell a child to drink water or eat or sleep or any other natural and necessary function? They often don’t recognize when they are hungry/thirsty/tired. If you are trained to only drink water at certain times, of course you will think that’s normal.

I went on a rampage in the hopes I would get some money for new books! Almost 5,000. No new money, though. My shelves are sad. Most of the books I weeded had NEVER been checked out or hadn’t been checked out in more than 10 years.
