I'd love to see our new Attorney General, @AGToddBlanche, establish a "Rights of the Unborn Taskforce."
Federal laws, such as the Comstock Act and EMTALA, provide protections for unborn children. And the Constitution's guarantee of equal protection prohibits elective abortion.

We generally presume that parents will make medical decisions for their child with the child’s best interests in mind.
That presumption should probably end when we’re talking about treating an infant for a condition that led the parents to try to kill the child in utero.

After a previous jury leaned 10-2 in favor of acquittal and was unable to reach a unanimous verdict resulting in a mistrial, prosecutors are taking this case back to court.
The new trial is set to begin June 30.
