Fresno Police Chief and mayor apologized to Mr. Singh
Fresno City Council candidate Naindeep Singh tells me he expects to be “fully exonerated” after his arrest on suspicion of drug DUI. He says his own drug screen came back negative. Police toxicology results are still pending.

I met Naindeep at the first @JakaraMovement Sikholars conference at Stanford over a decade ago. Since then, his service to the Sikh community and beyond has spoken volumes—earning recognition from the James Irvine Foundation and helping bring a global human rights mural to Fresno.
Fresno police’s “mistake” is a stain on their record. If found politically orchestrated, it would rank among the dirtiest tricks in electoral politics. Someone who has given so much to his community deserves better.

Naindeep Singh has been exonerated!!!...and the police chief was forced to apologize. But remember, it was only Naindeep's foresight to get a urine test done on his own immediately that saved him. By clearing his own name, he exposed the election interference by the City and Fresno PD. The resulting massive show of public support, forced them to expedite the blood test and apologize. If Naindeep didn't have his own evidence, they were fully prepared to let this DUI headline hang over his head until the election was over. This is corruption and it's a civil rights violation. The community will lift Naindeep up and he will win this election with a mandate for accountability and transparency like Fresno has never seen before. This has only just begun.
Here's the latest nonsense from the Fresno Police Chief re Naindeep Singh:
1. She goes in front of news cameras today saying Naindeep, despite not having any alcohol or drugs in his system, somehow failed a field sobriety test.
2. She will not release the body-cam video that actually shows what happened in the field sobriety-test.
Here's the thing, nobody trusts Fresno PD and City Hall anymore. They went to media with the DUI arrest smear but are slow-walking the toxicology reports that would exonerate him. Now, they are smearing him with the field sobriety test but refusing to release the video.
This is how a desperate city establishment steals an election from a community leader. No worries, Naindeep will win anyway!

Naindeep wasn’t on drugs. The Fresno Police Chief not only had to release him, but also issue a public apology for the wrongful arrest.
So why was Naindeep arrested in the first place—especially after passing the breathalyzer? And why did it happen just days before the city council election, with Naindeep the prominent Sikh candidate?

Imagine if you stood up at work and said “You know who has one hell of a beautiful ass? It’s Carol from accounting. Stand up Carol! Show them your ass!”
You’d be fired within the hour but the president gets a pass because everyone has accepted the fact that he’s a scumbag.

If you've ever wondered why smart TVs are so cheap, this is why.
@log4j rooted his Samsung and found an always-on hot mic, automatic content recognition, geolocation, network mapping, ad targeting and user profiling, shared with Samsung's "400 partners".
A lot of it can be blocked in <15 min, wrote a basic guide below.
What your TV is doing
The main culprit is ACR (automatic content recognition). Your TV screenshots what's on screen, fingerprints it, and sends it home to build your ad profile. Samsung does it every 500ms, LG every 10ms [1].
What is insane: it happens on connected devices too.
Plug in your laptop, your console, your work machine, and your TV can fingerprint that via HDMI [1].
He also found that if your Samsung doesn't have a mic, it'll look for one from a connected soundbar or bluetooth device.
teapaw.org/log4j/status/211376224…
It's on by default, and you likely agreed to it on the setup screen you clicked through in 10 seconds.
Step 1: Turn off ACR
Samsung: Terms & Privacy → Viewing Information Services
LG: Live Plus
Vizio: Viewing Data
Roku: "Use info from TV inputs"
Sony/Google TV: Samba Interactive TV
Menus vary by model, but those are the names to look for. While you're in there, opt out of interest-based ads, reset your advertising ID, decline every optional privacy agreement, turn off voice recognition, and delete apps you never open.
Step 2: Give smart devices their own network
Put the TV, cameras, speakers and vacuum on your router's guest/IoT network. The logic is simple: these devices rarely get patched. If one gets compromised (getting drastically more frequent with AI), it shouldn't be able to see your other devices or home network.
Step 3: Block trackers for the whole house with DNS-level filtering
NextDNS (cloud-based) is easy and has a solid free plan. Pi-hole is a little bit more work if you prefer self hosting. For simplicity we'll focus on the former.
1. Sign up at nextdns.io (free tier is plenty)
2. Privacy tab: add a blocklist (OISD is a good bet) and turn on Native Tracking Protection for Samsung, LG, Roku, Amazon (see attached image)
3. Setup tab: copy your endpoint
4. Paste it into your router's DNS settings as DNS-over-HTTPS/TLS (or use the IPs + "Link IP" if your router only does plain DNS)
5. Bonus: block outbound port 53 except to your router. Some devices hardcode their own DNS to get around you
Then open the NextDNS logs and watch how often your TV phones home. It's eye-opening. If an app or update breaks, find the domain in the logs and allowlist it.
Why they do this
TV prices are down 97% since 2000 [2]. Most of that is better manufacturing and brutal competition. But once margins on the hardware hit zero, the cost moved to you.
In Q3 2024, Vizio lost $6.7M selling TVs and made $115.8M in gross profit from ads and viewing data [3]. They've said on earnings calls that they keep TV prices low to grow the audience they sell to advertisers. Walmart bought them in 2024.
This isn't a conspiracy theory either. Vizio paid $2.2M to the FTC in 2017 for tracking 11 million TVs without consent. Last December, Texas sued Samsung, LG, Sony, Hisense and TCL over ACR. Samsung and LG have since agreed to stop collecting that data without explicit consent [4].
TL;DR
1. ACR off
2. Ads + voice off
3. Smart devices on their own network
4. NextDNS filtering on the router

Here's the terrifying reality of modern day hacking:
Last year, AJ's tech team discovered dozens of journalists were targeted with 'zero click' hacks delivered to their devices through targeted online ads.
Here's the kicker - they didn't need to click on the ads for the malware to be downloaded onto their phones.
They just had to scroll past them, or even for the ad to load in the background of their browsers.
Israel spyware firms hacked into Al Jazeera devices in 2024 using a new ‘adfection’ method previously unknown to the public. The ‘zero click’ hacks can infiltrate your phone or computer simply by scrolling past an ad online.
Al Jazeera’s @mohamedwashere explains.

Backlogs in the naturalization process are now skyrocketing.

Interesting fact: the ICC has NO cases or investigations involving US citizens. But the Court has an ongoing investigation and at least 2 arrest warrants out for Israeli officials, including Benjamin Netanyahu
Marco Rubio:
Either the ICC will end its threats, or we will end the ICC.
And we expect our allies, many of whom are part of the ICC, and that rely on American service members for their defense, to rein in this rogue court.
If they do not, the United States will continue its campaign to dismantle the ICC, piece by piece, until Americans are threatened no longer.

As often happens in this administration, a carefully-crafted justification is undone when Trump simply blurts out the truth on live TV.
Rubio’s written and video statements said ICC sanctions were to protect Americans — no mention of Israel.
