There’s this weird thing that happens late in a drawing where I know I’ve fixed a ton of stuff, but when I zoom out, it somehow looks almost exactly the same as it did hours ago. It’s like every part is still doing its own thing until some final bit of magic happens and the whole picture suddenly starts working together.
