I didn’t watch David Ginola live in that Spurs era, but from watching this video, he looks like the player everything went through. The flair, dribbling, and confidence are on another level. Was he actually the best player in that Spurs team, or am I missing someone?

John Duncan made his Spurs debut in a 1-1 draw at Luton in 1974, after joining from Dundee. Martin Chivers headed Tottenham ahead in the 67th minute, but John Aston equalised late on.
Duncan would score 62 goals in 120 appearances for Spurs.

Martin Jol’s Spurs reign ended in brutal fashion. Reports emerged before kick-off against Getafe that he had been sacked, as he led the team out at White Hart Lane. Spurs lost 2-1, and the club confirmed his departure hours later.

Spurs thrashed MK Dons 5-0 in the Carling Cup, in the first-ever meeting between the clubs. @midoahm and @IAmJermainDefoe both scored twice before substitute Robbie Keane added a fifth to complete a convincing Spurs victory.

People will say Chelsea were poor, but sometimes you just have to accept that the other team cooked you. We had them exactly where we wanted them.
Harry Kane winning the Ballon d’Or tomorrow would make my day even better. After everything he’s been through, seeing him finally get the recognition he deserves on the biggest individual stage in football would be such a beautiful moment.
