It's officially been two weeks since ChatGPT4 Vision started rolling out. My prediction was right, Multimodal AI is about to disrupt SO many sectors. Here are 14 of the most shocking examples that prove it:

This is one of the single best business ideas I’ve ever heard of. So many people enact Shakespearean theater at work by engaging others in useless meetings and gatherings. Stop these useless meetings and do something measurable and valuable instead. The big insight is that by eliminating so many meetings, they’ve made so many (bad) ideas become default no vs default yes. I suspect, over time, what Shopify finds by doing this is it forces real rigor in order to get projects over the line. The result is less bureaucracy, less politics, higher success and more efficiency. This probably helps keep the A/A+ talent and weeds out the Bs and Cs. A win/win for everyone. timesofindia.indiatimes.com/…

Overthinking kills dreams more than failure does. Decisions are the unit economics of life—choosing one thing is simultaneously the rejection of all other things. If you never act, you’ll end up with nothing but expired imaginations. You can’t just “think about it”.

My camera roll is now more screenshots than photos. Mainly things I want to eventually buy, places to go, stuff to remember etc. Feels like there could be a better way to traverse and map the internet?

I'm at a conference, not paying much attention. The speaker is talking about a book he loved so much, he bought a copy for every person on his team. Then he tells us the title. I stop what I am doing and look up. The title clicks an ON button in my mind. <<-- Thread 🧵 -->>

Several friends have now quit or been laid off from their jobs at startups and have asked me what to do with their options. Not exercising could mean millions left on the table, exercising could mean liquidating a huge chunk of cash that could go to 0. Here are my thoughts:
