Yeah the price point though is a bit much.
On the Evercades you can get a lot of the SNK games so unless the Neo Geo AES adds additional features (need to research it) out of the two you are better opting for Evercade.
Plus Evercade has Banjo Kazooie & Tooie running at 60FPS natively on their device 👏
I’ve not put too much into Steam yet but seeing as it’s Winter that’ll likely change!

After pouring approx 80 hours so far into Elden Ring & about half way through the main story (I’ve been exploring areas as much as I can), I can’t imagine how they’ll cram all of it into a singular film.
Definitely gonna have to keep an eye out for this release!
A24 is reportedly spending nearly $200 million on its Elden Ring movie, by far the most expensive film the studio has ever produced.
For comparison, A24’s previous record was Marty Supreme, with a budget of around $70 million.
The Elden Ring adaptation is planned for 2028 and represents a massive jump in scale for a studio best known for independent and unconventional movies.
A24 has also grown into a major industry brand, valued at around $3.5 billion as of 2024.
Would also add, the Evercade machines are definitely superb gadgets if you like retro games either oh the for just a dedicated console for them!
So currently no. The laptop I upgraded to last year allows me to fully do my content editing with zero compromise and with buying the Switch 2 initially for Kirby Air Riders there’s not been a need.
That being said I do agree that the gaming space has definitely shifted.
I’m all in on my Switch 2 & Steam set up for physical and indie games that don’t come to consoles. The more jailbreaks that happen the more security measures Sony will try to implement.
Time I revisit this absolute addiction of a game!
