Pope Francis has again allegedly used a derogatory term against gay people, saying "there is an air of faggotness in the Vatican" during a meeting with Roman priests.
"It was better that young men with a homosexual tendency not be allowed to enter the seminary."
The Vatican's press office reiterated the need to welcome gay people into the Church, but urged caution regarding them becoming seminarians.
Observers say his recent comments undermine his previous outreach to the LGBT community.
