Such a pleasure to give this lecture for @reparationsres at @UvA_Amsterdam. The lecture introduces my forthcoming Marie Skłodowska-Curie project and argues for an attention to place in the reparations debate in IL. If you missed it, you can watch it here👇 youtube.com/watch?v=R1wRL1q4…

It's here! 10 years since starting my PhD & 5 years since my viva, my book exists in the world! In it, I identify & challenge the limitations of individuals in @CIJ_ICJ practice & procedure. Too many people to thank (see acknowledgments)! Access here: shorturl.at/d9UJ2
I successfully defended my PhD today (awarded summa cum laude)! It was long journey with its ups & downs, but thankful for not giving up & for all the help along the way! A new chapter begins as Dr. Yusra Suedi! @academicchatter #academictwitter #phdone #viva

👇👇 My (critical) thoughts on the recent @ECHR_CEDH judgment on massive pollution in #Italy (Cannavacciuolo et al., 30.1.2025) and how the Court can do better, especially taking inspiration from the African Court's recent jurisprudence
