Game development today relies on processing power over optmization. Optimization requires people hours (which are expensive) while the cost of processing power is pushed to the gamer.

This narrative is crazy. Sony lied all these years by telling people that you canโt play the PS2 and PS3 games they own on disc on PS5, and the only way to play them is through a subscription.
Sword just proved that they lied. His open-source software is going viral because you can literally play all of your games on PS5. He is all over X, TT and YT with millions of views. People are pissed at Sony for lying all these years.
Sword is getting the creator fees and is super thankful to the Pumpfun community, so he can continue developing his software.
PS2 discs. Straight into a PS5.
20+ years of nostalgia, one disc away.

This is available as a game key card only. The Switch 1 version is available full game on cart. @SquareEnix doesn't provide an upgrade path or game save compatibility.
If you respect your rights as a gamer, DO NOT BUY THIS GAME.

Valve has not officially confirmed the architecture for the Steam Deck 2, but their recent software commits, hardware releases, and strategic investments strongly indicate they are laying the groundwork for an ARM-based handheld. (thread).

This was made possible thanks to digant73 and Megamouse.
Recent changes to RPCS3 have extended direct disc drive play support from being Windows-only to also supporting Linux, macOS, and FreeBSD, and have optimised install times for package installations from the disc drive.

Sony is feeding us crap and expecting to earn a yield from their farm animals. They're discovering that these farm animals bite.

Seriously? You're going to use this to farm engagement dude? How cheap you are.

This is the end of art in gaming. This plus Unreal are going to make every (non-Nintendo) game the same shit with different sauce on it.

The only company that gets gaming and gamers and gaming culture is Nintendo. They're not perfect, but they're what we have right now.
