I have been watching the rather impressive scaffolding go up under the M60 bridge over the last few weeks, wondering what was going on. Question answered by @MENnewsdesk - clever engineering to enable repairs!

On the subject of London museums, one of my favourite exhibitions last year was ‘Biology of Metal: Metal Craftmanship in Tsubame-Sanjo’ at @japanhouseldn. It featured this demonstration of an extreme precision diecast ‘magic metal’ block.

To mark the end of the F1 season, a throwback to the @DesignMuseum 'Ferrari: Under the Skin' exhibition.
It featured a selection of original sketches, development models, race cars and memorabilia - all tied together with punchy graphics in a visual extravaganza. #Ferrari #F1
The Design Museum itself is worth a visit. It opened at the repurposed former Commonwealth Institute (RMJM, 1962/refit by John Pawson) in 2016. The atrium provides circulation and exhibition space beneath a spectacular hyperbolic paraboloid roof
