His assignment was to film polar bears for the BBC.
Fun fact about polar bears: they are one of the very few animal species that actively see humans as prey :)
Message to some of the Dems who won. Follow the lead of what President Clinton wrote and of Dr Annie Andrews and Talerico, by saying you are here to work together to get important things done to help Americans. I have seen some commenting woke is back, and I think that is unwise. You won by such margins bc centrist Independents helped you and they don't want some extreme left policies. Those policies are what gave Trump 2024. Stay in the center for most issues. Make life more affordable.

Nobody talks about how we're all paying $15 for sandwiches now and just pretending that's normal. Five years ago that same sandwich was $8. The price doubled and the only explanation we got was "supply chain issues" which apparently means "forever."

Donald Trump just promoted one of the most vile thugs to ever slither into the Oval Office.
This is an insult to every American who voted for change on Tuesday.
Stephen Miller cooked up the sadistic mass deportation regime that ripped apart families and trampled basic civil rights. Innocent people are dead because of him.
Voters rejected his cruelty and extremism. This is sick.
"I am pleased to announce that Mr. Stephen Miller, the current Deputy Chief of Staff of the Trump Administration, and one of my most trusted advisors, will become the Chief of Staff starting Monday, November 9, 2026. Susie Wiles, who has done an outstanding job, will be moving over to the Trump Political Operation. I want to thank her for her service as Chief of Staff — She has done a great job!" - President Donald J. Trump 🇺🇸

Let’s be clear: Trump’s decision to elevate Stephen Miller to Chief of Staff is a deliberate doubling down on the very agenda that just cost Republicans their biggest electoral defeat in 50 years.
Up is down in this nation right now, meaning so many are so greatly deceived that they still see mainstream Americans wishes as evil and want to impose their Christian nationalism. I am a person of strong faith who grew up with it from birth. I am amazed at the number of believers who see things the opposite of what they are.

Breaking news this afternoon: Susie Wiles is out and Stephen Miller is in as the new White House Chief of Staff.
Trump clearly did not learn his lesson from Tuesday's electoral drubbing. The voters rejected the type of policy and direction that Stephen Miller embodies, and Trump rewards him with a promotion.
Buckle up, the next two years are not going to be easy.

If you’ve ever read anything about malignant narcissism, you’d find nothing surprising in Trump's appointment of Stephen Miller as White House chief of staff. It’s just a logical progression in the arc of an unboundedly destructive psyche.
I am 58 years of age, and my entire life Democrats have been the adults in the room. They come willing to take the high road and have dialogue, to find common ground to help Americans. They take a kind and civil posture even when the GOP has done horrendous acts to them. This election however may sadly prove that there is NO real working with the GOP. Honestly, they were this arrogant and selfish even LONG before Trump and I voted for them from 92-08 because I was told as a Christian that the Dems hated Christianity and were going to destroy it. Luckily, I broke away from the lies and now vote as an Independent looking for leaders who have integrity and a willingness to serve.
That said, there is no "working" with Miller and if that is the posture they want to take, we better get ready to fight for our nation. I am also beyond sad that so many evangelicals STILL think all Dems are evil and they see this election as bad news. Why can they never see reality? The merging of far right religion with far right politics has been going on since Falwell was recruited by Reagan to merge forces and it sickened me then and it sickens me now. Whatever you do for the least of these, you have done unto me, and that message is a cut and dry message. Praying for our nation and grateful for leadership who walk in love.

Nothing says "we heard the message and ignored it" quite like naming a white nationalist as chief of staff.

Democrats have now won so many seats nationwide that we can effectively abolish the Electoral College without the use of a Constitutional Amendment.
It’s time, let’s finally get it done.

BREAKING: Arizona Democrats win control of the state House, Senate and governor’s office for the first time since 1966, per the AP.
Gov. Katie Hobbs won reelection, and Democrats flipped both chambers of the Legislature. Republicans had controlled the House for 60 years and the Senate since the early 1990s.
Hobbs vetoed more than 540 bills from the Republican-led Legislature in her first term, on taxes, immigration and voting. With a Democratic Legislature, she’s pledged to focus on water, affordability, and fraud and abuse in the state’s school voucher program.
Arizona is one of at least six states where Democrats now hold full control, along with Michigan, Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Nevada and Wisconsin.

Naming Stephen Miller White House Chief of Staff is Trump saying, "I heard you, America!"

Donald Trump just announced Stephen Miller as his new White House chief of staff. Let that sink in. Days after Republicans suffered massive election losses, Trump’s response is to put the architect of his mass deportation agenda in charge of the entire White House operation. The lesson Trump took from Election Day was that Stephen Miller needed MORE power. Absolutely fucking insane.
It is NOT just the Iran war. Gen X, Y, and Z are tired of old thinking leaders! I hope in 28 we further clean house and let DC be our generations! Many, not all, but many boomers think the world works like it did 20 years ago. They judge and shame young people bc in their minds you can walk into businesses and apply in person and get hired. They worshipped money and kept our wages artificially LOW for decades robbing us of our lives in many aspects. We want our generations who understand our needs and issues to lead and we have the talent!
Beyond that, we deserve a chance to lead when boomers and traditionalists older than they REFUSE to retire! Bottom line, it is time for new blood! The youngest Gen X have already lost out in leadership we would have been doing if senators who are 74 and older had retired! Time for change and change is good!
