🚨 Daylight Saving Time was never made for the farmers, nor does it create “more daylight.” It was a myth made up by golf and retail lobbyists. We need to ditch DST, and restore permanent Standard Time for better health!
🚨🚨🚨Daylight Savings Time was created during World War I to give farmers and workers more daylight to work. The government kept it when they discovered it causes heart attacks and strokes in the elderly, and during the time change people had more car accidents, falls and injuries.
Our bodies have an internal clock that is damaged during every clock change. Today we have universal electricity and lights. We have no need for DST anymore. It’s time to stop the madness! End DST clock changes forever!! ⏰ ⏰ ⏰

A powerful M6.5 earthquake struck the Bonin Islands, Japan region.
At 492 km deep, this was a deep-focus quake, so minimal surface impact is expected despite its magnitude. No tsunami threat is expected from an event at this depth.
The region has recorded 118 earthquakes in the past 30 days, with this M6.5 the largest.

Most Americans wake by alarm at or before 6:30am. Daylight Saving Time is making us wake in darkness. Permanent Standard Time would let us sleep past dawn.
