I’ve been noticing things about the ways baby clothes are so gender-coded in a way that I didn’t when Charlie was a baby, and I’m not sure why. Stripes, buttons, and dogs, reptiles, fish, and bears are for boys. Polka dots, no buttons, and cats and horses are for girls.
