We're disappointed that the court found Google acted as a monopolist in ad sales but declined to impose the robust remedies that finding demands. It's like letting Citibank continue to run the NYSE! Read our reaction in full 👇

If we want to defend & grow free markets, enforcement can't end at the liability phase - little tech needs meaningful remedies. That's why @LittleTechOrg is proud to support @TheJusticeDept in it's appeal of the Google Search remedies. Read our full amicus brief framerusercontent.com/assets…

We've got a different take. Our response to today's DMA news 👇👇
The European Union’s €890 million (~$1 billion) fine on Google today is the latest example of Brussels using regulation as a blunt instrument against American innovation. According to Politico, a recent EU fine on Google of €4.1 billion (~ $5 billion) alone represented 2% of the EU’s annual budget, higher than the contribution of 2/3rds of the EU’s member states. The current fine is in addition. Enough is enough! While we support fair competition, this current penalty under the Digital Markets Act risks chilling the very dynamism that drives technological progress and benefits users everywhere. The United States remains committed to open markets, rule of law, and genuine competition. We urge our European partners to work collaboratively with us on standards that foster innovation rather than protect legacy players or punish market leaders simply for being effective. American tech leadership strengthens the transatlantic alliance — let’s keep it that way. ec.europa.eu/commission/pres…
