End of football season order should be:
- Last day of all leagues should be on the same weekend:
Conference up to Championship all on Saturday, 3pm KO for all
Premier League on the Sunday. I'll accept 4pm KO but 3pm would be nice
- FA Cup final weekend after (Saturday 3pm kick off non negotiable), FA Trophy final can be on the Sunday
- Play offs late May bank holiday weekend BUT:
L2 on Saturday,
L1 on the Sunday,
Championship on the Monday

I went to watch Exeter City, a fan-owned club that is struggling to cope. Make no mistake: the ability of this model to survive is a litmus test for the future of English football.

21 years ago tomorrow, a FA Cup draw against Man U & replay saved our club
On Sat we return to the other side of Manchester, but no prospect of a replay, no TV money & tickets dropped to just £15. Playing in the FA Cup is an honour, but it isn't the financial lifeline it was

Exeter City is owned by the fans, not movie stars, NFL MVPs or business millionaires, so this is 100% the right thing to ask

Absolutely loving the new girl group docu on BBC - so interesting & right up my street...but how can you do a docu about UK girl groups & not even mention Girls Aloud?! Not even once...😅 So weird.

i don’t know how you can make a documentary about british girl bands and not denote any time to the greatest girl band britain has ever produced - girls aloud, whose music pushed pop music into new and exciting territories and hasn’t been matched, before or since. justice!!
Where did @rugbyontnt miss two points in @BathRugby v @BristolBears?! It ended 38-15 on the in-play scoreboard, after Arundell made it 36 + Russell 38 with the conversion that was the last kick of the game, yet apparently it was 40-15?!
A niche crossover I appreciate, but love that Patricia Routledge went on a day that Taylor Swift released Life of A Showgirl, with opening lyric for the title track: "her name was Kitty, made her money being witty" and "thank you for the lovely bouquet" (definitely not bucket)

Programming Note: Jon Stewart will be hosting The Daily Show tonight at 11/10c on Comedy Central. Just don't tell him it's Thursday 🤫
I lived in Danny Kruger's constituency in East Wiltshire and he was vile enough as a Tory MP, but 15 minutes after he defected to Reform I moved to a whole new constituency and thank F for that timing
(British) woman on the train (in UK) complaining loudly on speakerphone this is why she lives in France now, everything in the UK is horrible: there's no bins! NO BINS anywhere! Sat right next to the bin, 10 metres from another bin. Within sight of several bins on the platform
I was just saying to some youngsters this week about how much more optimistic the country felt in 1997 but BBC has somewhere found a TOTP episode from that year to remind me it was far far far far from all good #totp

A group of settlers just lynched Hamdan Ballal, co director of our film no other land. They beat him and he has injuries in his head and stomach, bleeding. Soldiers invaded the ambulance he called, and took him. No sign of him since.
