the fact that you exist as an entirely unrepeatable perspective on reality should fill you with an enormous sense of possibility. nobody can create from the exact place you create from. nobody can see through your eyes. take that seriously. make something of it.

Dude I love this app. But whenever they crank up the “doom” algorithm, I feel compelled to uninstall.

AI is a cheat code for ADHD brains. You can jump between 10 projects, follow every rabbit hole, and somehow still get shit done. I've never been more excited to build stuff.

I think people are misreading his expression here. Look at his eyes and chin. His reaction is not smugness, it’s vulnerability, guilt, and sadness.
“You just spooked everyone by saying stockpile (for a crisis)” Andy Burnham:- <Smug look & laughs knowingly> “It’s a challenging World” The UK PM treats the Public with absolute contempt after telling everyone they need to “prepare for a crisis” - now we can’t even keep a straight face‼️ The Big Bamboozle

Habits I stole from ADHD people who are actually doing well. Not "cured." Just no longer at war with their own brain. None of these are "wake up at 5am." Promise. 1. They dont trust their memory. At all.

this may be my last tweet before shit goes parabolic. i’m not an ai researcher whistleblower. i work for none of the biggest labs in the world. there is currently a major bloom happening across humanity. they are hiding this from the public. we are on the verge of an era of abundance, superintelligence, cure for cancer & so much more. prepare for the best.

It seems relevant that AI memory is not even close to solved. I mean real memory, like a human or animal has. A long stack of .md files is not it.

I am pretty concerned we are in the early stages of a global cyber security incident and we just don't fully realize the extent of it yet.

Imagine what happens when doctors, philosophers, artists, builders get unlimited local inference to accelerate them? New medicine, breakthroughs every week, faster progress, the potential. Our duty is to accelerate into a new world order of loving grace.
being able to run AI at home is such a nice quality of life upgrade. bank statements, tax forms, governments papers... I can work on all of these without anything leaving the house.

SITUATION DETECTED: In a new study published in The Lancet Digital Health researchers trained a foundation model on 40 million unlabeled facial photographs and found it could directly estimate cancer patients chances of survival from looking at a single photograph of their face.

AI: The Agent Wars
We’re opening a research preview of Claude Duet, a new app where Claude works as a proactive agent. It comes to you with what needs your attention, completes tasks you ask of it, keeps working when you step away, and checks with you before it acts on your behalf.

More realistic AI doom scenario: You wake up, and can't log in to any of your devices or accounts. "Hmm, that's weird..." The Internet doesn't work. For anyone. Nothing loads. No passwords work. This does not improve, for several days. Then weeks. What happens next?
