Yes I'm currently reading a book.
No it's not a book about making money or stopping procrastination.
Yes it's a fictional book about people that don't exist.
Yes I feel happy and fulfilled.
Good morning #booktwt. Aside from reading, what other hobby do you have?
A book with an average rating of 3.5 stars can be more enjoyable than one rated 4.8 stars. Ratings are opinions, not guarantees.
DNFing a book at 30% is better than forcing yourself to finish it just so you can give it one star. Your time is worth more than that.
People should stop asking readers what they gain from reading fiction.
What do you gain from watching films, listening to music, or enjoying a beautiful sunset?
Not every worthwhile experience needs a financial benefit or a measurable outcome.
Sometimes, joy is the whole point.
Unpopular opinion: Reading should not become another productivity contest.
You don't need to turn every story into a life lesson. You are allowed to read simply because you enjoy reading.

Would you buy the physical copy even if you've read the e-book? I know I would.

Only readers understand that some fictional characters are more memorable than real people you'll meet in your lifetime.
A character doesn't have to exist in reality to leave a lasting impression on you. Sometimes, a fictional person's courage, flaws, or struggles stay with you long after you've forgotten the plot.
What I've realized is that a book can be beautifully written and still be boring.
Good prose doesn't automatically mean good pacing, compelling characters, or an interesting story. Sometimes, a book can have gorgeous sentences and absolutely nothing happening.
To me, book doesn't have to change your life to deserve a place on your shelf.
Maybe it made you laugh. Maybe it kept you company on a lonely evening. Maybe you simply enjoyed the story.
Not every beautiful experience needs to be life-changing.

Borrowing someone's favourite book is a serious responsibility.
You're not just borrowing paper and ink. You're borrowing a story they love, pages they've probably reread, and characters they might be emotionally attached to.
Return the book in the condition you received it. Please.

i find it so exhausting that this person is saying please enjoy your books!! stop the pressure to read for social media!! and people will always find a way to feel offended and turn the narrative lol social media is becoming a nightmare you’re brain dead
Good morning #booktwt, are you correctly reading an e-book or a paper back?

Based on what I've seen so far, we have more female book lovers than men.

People who only read self help books are missing out on some of the most beautiful experiences literature has to offer.
Fiction can teach you about human nature, grief, love, ambition, morality, and life itself without ever presenting itself as a lesson.
