My 2026 Chery Tiggo 7 Pro (1.5T Prime DCT) has been sitting completely off the road and unrepaired since 17 September 2026 following an accident.
For nearly TWO MONTHS, I have been passed back and forth between Chery South Africa, Chery Boksburg, Mazda Germiston, and Action Panelbeaters—all while continuing to pay monthly vehicle finance on a car I cannot drive, plus massive out-of-pocket expenses for alternative transport.
The excuse? Outstanding parts with zero ETA, zero accountability, and zero courtesy vehicle provided by Chery while we wait indefinitely for components for a brand-new 2026 model.
Despite formal escalations to Chery Customer Care (Ref: 7a2cb410-cec9-11f1-8675-7fe0b58ac9e2) and executive management, there are still no answers.
Today, my car is parked right in front of Chery Boksburg with a message they can’t miss:

On a serious note, the Minister needs to clarify whether she is pursuing this defamation action in her personal capacity as Mamoloko Kubayi or in her official capacity as a Cabinet Minister.
If this is a personal legal dispute, taxpayers should not be expected to foot the bill. Public funds and departmental resources cannot simply be used to finance a minister’s private litigation.
SA common law, as established in Die Spoorbond, does not recognise a right of government or organs of government to sue for defamation to protect their institutional reputation. However, an individual Cabinet Minister retains the right to sue in her personal capacity.
@sacr_official1 will write to the @DOJCD_ZA seeking clarity on the legal position and the use of public funds in such litigation.

South Africa doesn't need a party that shouts the loudest while offering the worst ideas. We don't need slogans, we need jobs. We don't need land grabs, we need farms that produce. We don't need freebies, we need an economy that works.

SOUTH AFRICA: Another disturbing incident in Cape Town. A group of children were standing right in front of a shop when a gunman suddenly walked up, pulled out an AK-47 and opened fire on the shop owner.
Just look at where those children were standing. This criminal didn’t even seem to care that innocent children were right there. Imagine the trauma of witnessing something like this at such a young age.

That vehicle with a roof covered in antennas is an electronic countermeasures (ECM) vehicle. its job is to make the air around the convoy useless for radio.
The most common way to set off a roadside bomb from a distance is a radio signal. A cheap phhone, a walkie-talkie, a car key fob, a garage door remote basically someone watches the convoy, presses a button, the signal reaches the receiver on the device. That’s a remote-controlled IED.
The vehicle does barrage jamming. It blasts strong noise across whole frequency bands at once, including cellular, VHF/UHF radio, GPS and common remote-control frequencies so any receiver near the convoy hears the noise louder than any real signal so the trigger command never gets through.
It will also kill GPS trackers someone might have planted on the vehicle.
It will also affect every phone near the motorcade. If you notice that’s why your signal drops when a convoy like that passes.

South Africa has suspended one of its top immigration diplomats stationed in India after being caught in the middle of a massive fake visa operation.
Sfiso Gumbi, working out of New Delhi, reportedly signed off on four-year work permits for dozens of Indian nationals who submitted fake job papers to get into the country.
When reporters went to check the Gauteng addresses of the companies offering the jobs, they found empty lots and fake setups. The entire scheme allegedly ran through at least 50 fake front companies that existed only on paper.
The operation reportedly links an agency in Hyderabad, India, with an Indian national based in Midrand, though his legal team claims he had nothing to do with it.
Home Affairs Minister Leon Schreiber removed Gumbi from his post as soon as the media exposed the story, and officials are now checking hundreds of other files. Still, internal complaints about this exact ring were reportedly reported to the department a year ago.
