With multiple industry-leading performance metrics, it is built for complex mining conditions, ensuring high-yield and efficient production. The successful installation paves the way for future commissioning and operation, while offering insights for the underground application of China's self-developed high-end intelligent mining equipment.

🏆The China Association of Construction Enterprise Management (CACEM) has released the results of the 2024–2026 National Quality Engineering Award. Key milestones unlocked! 🏗️On Oct 16, #ChinaEnergy's Ningxia Coal MTP Process Upgrading Project completed the installation of reactor and regenerator for the DMTO-III methanol-to-olefins (MTO) unit. With an annual production capacity of 3.6 million metric tons, the unit is the world's first and the biggest single-train unit. With the reactor and regenerator now in position, the project has set several records in the coal chemical industry for both construction and equipment.

📃Recently, #ChinaEnergy, in collaboration with Xiamen University and @Tsinghua_Uni, published an article entitled "Holistic strategies for scaling water electrolysis" as co-corresponding authors in the academic science journal Nature Chemical Engineering. 💡Under the Ministry of Education of China's plans for foundational and interdisciplinary breakthrough research, the article proposes an innovative shift in water electrolysis technology development. On Oct 9, #ChinaEnergy's "Supercapacitor-Based Thermal-Storage Hybrid Primary Frequency Regulation Demonstration Project" passed its grid-connected primary frequency regulation performance test. It marked the official commissioning of the group's first power-type thermal-storage hybrid primary frequency regulation project, with all storage units using supercapacitors. The project boosts power plant flexibility, improves grid coordination and supports greater renewable energy integration — offering a replicable model for modernizing coal-fired power plants and for building a new-type power system.

🚆A global first on the world stage: the operation control system for 35,000-tonne heavy-haul group trains, developed under the leadership of China Shenhua Energy Company Limited of #ChinaEnergy, made its debut at InnoTrans 2026 in #Berlin, Germany. 💪It was the first time China Energy has taken part in the fair as an independent exhibitor, and the system drew keen interest from international professionals from the railway industry.

🏜️⚡Unit 6 of #ChinaEnergy's Ningxia Electric Power's Zhongwei Power Plant has completed its 168-hour trial operation on Oct 2. With that, all four 660 MW peak-shaving units supporting China's first large-scale renewable energy base in "Desert-Gobi-Arid areas" are now fully commissioned. This milestone will support the development of China's new energy system, enhance west-to-east power transmission capacity, and contribute to the country's dual-carbon goals.

#ChinaLongyuanPower's 11 GW new energy project in the Badain Jaran Desert, located in Northwest China's Gansu province, has received the approval from #ChinaEnergy. It's part of China's desert-Gobi-wasteland base and a supporting power source for interprovincial UHV transmission. ⚡The project will feature 4,300,000 kilowatts of wind power, 6,700,000 kilowatts of solar power, and battery storage to boot — helping to power the Hexi Corridor's green transition and China’s national energy security.

⚡️On Sept 21, with the final blade of unit F21 lifted into position at the Longyuan Power Qiyuan Offshore Wind Farm, #ChinaEnergy completed the installation of all turbines at its first offshore wind project in Hainan province. Off the west coast of Gancheng town, Dongfang city, the project has a total installed capacity of 500,000 kilowatts. Once operational, it is expected to generate about 1.5 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity annually — saving roughly 467,000 metric tons of standard coal and cutting carbon dioxide emissions by about 1.271 million tons each year.

#ChinaEnergy made a splash once again at the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) and the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS), held from Sept 17 to 21 in Nanning, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
