Let me be really blunt, because why Fulton County? It's the same reason he's obsessed with Philly. It's the same reason he's obsessed with Detroit. And so he thought he could send federal agents to Georgia to intimidate you.

A strong decision by the U.S. State Department – authorizing Ukraine’s purchase of Patriot interceptors to counter Russian ballistic missiles. Five hundred PAC-3 interceptors is a substantial number, and very soon – this winter – they COULD make for a highly effective defense package. However, it has been stipulated that deliveries may begin ONLY IN A FEW YEARS. We are asking our American partners to find a solution for the time when there is a real danger and a real need to use PAC-3 interceptors.
Right now, the Russians are attacking our energy infrastructure every single day. In just these past two weeks of October, there have already been more than 30 Russian strikes on critical parts of our power grid. It is right now, even before the beginning of winter, that Putin has started carrying out his operation to attack the systems that sustain life in our cities and communities. The targets are electricity, heating, water supplies, bridges, and life in our cities in general.
We did ask our American partners to provide Ukraine with a winter support package – at a rate of 100 Patriot interceptors per month. Five hundred missiles would be enough to protect our skies over the coming months – precisely when it is so important for Ukraine to be in a strong position in negotiations and for Russia NOT to succeed in breaking life in Ukrainian cities and communities.
The United States, our European partners, and other partners around the world have sufficient stocks of PAC-3 interceptors in their warehouses. Providing them to Ukraine right now – in the winter of 2026–2027 – and replenishing our partners’ arsenals LATER, in THE FOLLOWING YEARS, through this production already contracted and paid for by Ukraine and our partners would be the right approach. And it is entirely feasible.
We are grateful to President Trump. Importantly, we recently discussed PAC-3 interceptors with Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Ukraine is grateful to the U.S. State Department and the U.S. Administration overall for granting this authorization. But we are asking for decisions that can guarantee the protection of lives not the day after tomorrow or sometime later, but at the very moment the threat is there – when Russia is killing and destroying. I thank everyone who stands with Ukraine!

Zusammenfassung der letzten Stunden bezüglich der aktuellen Situation im Nahen Osten:

- Adm. Cooper brieft Trump direkt. - sehr ungewöhnlich
- Rubio und Hegseth wirken auf Trump ein, direkt nach den Midterm Elections los zu legen, um sein "Aussenpolitischer Vermächtnis" zu sichern, bevor der neue US Congress möglicherweise ab dem 3. Jan intervenieren könnte.
- Befreundete Golf-Staaten wurden durch die USA informiert, dass es in Kürze wieder los gehen könnte, und dass man von Gegenschlägen der IRGC auch gegen sie und ihre Energie-Produktions Infrastruktur ausgeht.
- Verzweifelte Ad Hoc Diplomatie-Versuche, insbesondere durch Pakistan, Qatar und Türkei, irgendwie noch schnell tragbare Verhandlungserfolge zwischen USA um dem Mullah Regime zu erreichen, sind bisher gescheitert. Der Iran ist insbesondere nicht bereit, über sein Nuklear-Programm zu Verhandeln.
- Saudi Arabien versucht mehr Zeit für Verhandlungen bei den USA rauszuschlagen. Die USA verlangen dafür aber signifikante Zugeständnisse des Iran, die das Iranische Regime aber nicht bereit ist zu gewähren. Die Geduld der USA scheint am Ende zu sein.
Alles wartet quasi nur noch auf das "GO" von Trump. Sobald am Dienstag die Wahlen vorbei sind, könnte ihm eine Ablenkung vom Ergebnis, dass nach allen Voraussagen ziemlich übel für die Republikaner ausgehen könnte, durchaus zeitlich gelegen kommen.
Ich würde auch die Tatsache nicht unterbewerten, dass er dann quasi nur noch 8 Wochen Zeit hat, bis ihm die Democrats mit einer möglichen Mehrheit im Congress die finanziellen Mittel dafür beschränken oder sogar streichen könnten. Das ist für mich der Hauptgrund zu sagen, dass es unwahrscheinlich ist, dass er irgendwelchen "Vermittlung-Versuchen" noch mehr Zeit einräumen wird.
Entweder passiert es bald, oder überhaupt nicht mehr. - Die Zeichen stehen nach den Wahlen in den USA und Israel aus heutiger Sicht eindeutig auf eine baldige erneute militärische Auseinandersetzung mit dem Islamischen Regime und der IRGC im Iran.

New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill (a Democrat) is threatening to block the receipt of Russian diesel fuel at the largest import terminal in the United States, the FT reports.
The governor is currently exploring measures to prevent the unloading of fuel from the aggressor state.
According to her, Trump is not actually doing anything to lower fuel prices, and the agreement with Putin is “illegal and corrupt.”

Russia is using this humanitarian operation as a propaganda opportunity.
Moscow wants to portray itself as the rescuer of civilians in a city that it occupies, one it has destroyed and plunged into this humanitarian crisis.
And we need to be clear, Russia controls what we are going to be allowed to see.
Moscow appears to have brought in numerous Russian media compared to just the one American news outlet.
A temporary ceasefire was established in the area of the Russian-occupied Ukrainian city of Oleshky (Kherson region). It began at 3:00 a.m. (4:00 a.m. Moscow time).
According to estimates by the Ukrainian government, between two and six thousand civilians are trapped there under blockade and are suffering from hunger.
Russia's Ministry of Defense stated that in connection with preparations for a "humanitarian operation" in the Oleshky area, it had ceased fire on the Kherson direction and introduced a "silence regime."
The Ukrainian command had previously confirmed the agreement on a temporary ceasefire.
"The silence regime is being established exclusively for the humanitarian operation: delivery of aid to residents currently in the city and preparation for the free movement of the civilian population from Oleshky," the General Staff said in a statement.
"We urge everyone during this period to be especially cautious regarding the information you receive and share... Do not trust unverified reports, and do not spread rumors about the routes, time, and location of the movement of people and humanitarian columns," it noted.
The frontline city has been cut off from food and medicine supplies for many months.
Earlier, the BBC spoke with residents of Russian-occupied Oleshky who described how they are suffering from malnutrition - including boiling soup from weeds - and how dangerous it is to evacuate the city due to mined roads.
Ukrainian Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, who negotiated with Melania Trump on the Ukrainian side, stated that the operation to rescue people in Oleshky is extremely difficult to implement.
"As part of our agreement, first – a silence regime will be ensured. Second – humanitarian cargo will be delivered to Oleshky. Third – free movement of the civilian population out of Oleshky will be ensured," he said in a video message on Telegram.
Kherson is controlled by Ukraine, while Oleshky was occupied by Russian forces back in 2022. In 2023, most of the city was flooded due to the Russian army's blowing up of the Kakhovka Reservoir dam.
