#SQLServer is there any way to get an expired version to run long enough to get the backups without installing a full version?
#sqlhelp Has anyone done a SQL Server version upgrade with an edition downgrade?

Quick shout out that @RuelKnudson is an very talented and evocative author and anyone who loves a good story could pick up any of his books and be rewarded.

#sqlhelp Given that the Enterprise features are not being used, is it feasible to downgrade, in place, from Enterprise evaluation to Standard licensed? Does this require a re-install of the entire product?

#sqlhelp Can SQL 2019 query AD? I'm migrating from 2014.

#sqlhelp I'm under the assumption that SQL Server 2022 has released to the public. My company uses the Microsoft Volume Licensing Center and I don't see it listed as a product. Is my assumption incorrect or am I missing something?

#sqlhelp KB5008996 - CU 15 for SQL Server 2019 Prior to patch - backup filename is all caps Post post - backup filename servername portion is all lower-case What portion of the patch changed that behavior and is it indicative of any other change in behavior internally?

#sqlhelp #SQLServer Does anyone know why extended events (which feeds directly into Auditing) was never designed to save results to a table? I'm sure this has been asked but I can't seem to find a reasonably reply.

#sqlhelp I think I know the answer to this but.... if you kill a long running insert can you then kill the spid doing the rollback and restart SQL Server with a fairly high chance of NOT corrupting the database? Another way that doesn't involve waiting for it to finish?

#sqlhelp Has anyone feedback on a LogRythm + SQL Server integration? Was it useful? Pros or cons?

"Today was a Difficult Day," said Pooh. There was a pause. "Do you want to talk about it?" asked Piglet. "No," said Pooh after a bit. "No, I don't think I do." "That's okay," said Piglet, and he came and sat beside his friend. "What are you doing?" asked Pooh.
