My father Ibrahim Alkhateeb passed away yesterday. He spent a month in the ICU after being senselessly shot while driving.
For anyone who happens to be in the Dallas-Ft Worth area, his janaza will be at Valley Ranch Islamic Center after the 1:45 jum'ah prayer tomorrow.

I think it's a must read. I, like most of us, had no picture of where the different elements of Islamic history fall in the timeline.

Too many people are unaware of the depth of the Islamic sciences. My generation was brought up on a lot of platitudes and slogans. More people need to be exposed to how the Islamic sciences work so they gain an appreciation for what the Prophet ﷺ left for us.
