starting to think the remake was a bit unnecessary
Like I do think we need a dbs remake and im glad it exists, but they shouldve just started at U6 saga cause for the first two arcs we already got the movies and so far the BOG movie is still the best version

Here's an idea: have an end scene in one of the X2 comics where we see Zero's parts in the X-Hunters' possession.
Then, cut to a lone Serges who goes "Finally, I have another chance to complete him. And this time... I will not fail." Show the Wily reflection, absolute cinema.

Ok rewatching in the official release I thought it was a bit better but still have better thoughts.
Negatives:
My biggest issue was removing the Vegeta comedy scenes with him cooking in favor of the oolong scene in the end. IMO it should’ve been the opposite
I also don’t like the gray filter a lot of the episode had over it.
Positives:
I actually liked the elbow instead of the slap Beerus gave to bulma. Felt a bit more impersonal which I liked.
The comedy moments they left in I thought were hilarious. Also the first half of the episode I felt was strong in general.
Overall it’s an easy improvement to the original DBS but I think I like this portion of the story best in the movie still.
Though tbh I didn’t expect this episode to be crazy like last week and presumably next week anyway.
A very 6-7 out of 10 episode.
