One round away from beating Anakin 😔 and placed 33rd… Gonna keep improving from here on out 🫡
1ランドでアナキンさんワンチャンで倒せたけど負けました😭www
The Japanese are finding out about blue sky, what did you guys do @wemby
I fought a sweaty tekken god Korean lars player on t7 ranked earlier and he demoted me back to emperor 😆
Tekken 8 made me worse lmao
My Japanese is so shit that I didn’t know the Lee player I ran into in bracket today was the Tekken 6 fucking Lee legend Mist 😭. I felt so bad because my win didn’t feel legit, this guy was out fundamentiling me in everything but heat carried me lmaoooo
This is just my observation with this discourse but I think because of how rich the arcade Tekken culture was in Japan and Korea, most of the old heads here don’t really care for the preservation of older Tekken as they treat it as the past and sort of this “let’s just focus on the current one” way of thinking. Past is the past and probably a lot of old heads are satisfied enough with the past series.
However in the west, a lot of us were influenced by Tekken crash/MainStreetRyu especially ones that are young but we never got to experience green arcade or real arcade Tekken culture and kinda stuck with the shitty t6 console version at home. Which is probably why we tend to be a lot more vocal and wanting to relive something we never got to experience by trying to bring back older Tekken to replace this current version despite the legality of it.
20 years later from now , this tweet will be hanged in museums to help us remember the “great 2026 cultural clash of t6 rollback/ illegal mod debate
I’m more surprised y’all didn’t expect stance slop with the game being this old lmaoooo
“Was excited for Tua tagovailoa but damn….he threw another interception.
Like what did y’all expect ???😭
T8 volatility makes upsets feel less rewarding but I think we’ve all been playing this series for so long and been competing offline long enough to be comfortable with the mental stack that comes with pulling major upsets but our improvements have been overshadowed by this game’s aggressiveness.
ft2 upsets in this game require you to get the job done quick by shutting down your opponents spacing and options but definitely telling yourself mid game“ am I really gonna pull it off” has screwed players over mentally
