Happy to have taken part in that really interesting day, a great place to meet like-minded people based around the world in a rare in-person event in Barcelona and to connect with them, helping the whole science and tech community grow.
🚀 #BarcelonaAlumni Global Summit 2022 gathers +300 top scientists and tech experts trained in #Barcelona and now working abroad to foster int'l cooperation, showcase our strengths abroad and help us better understand key global issues.

Yet another AI-impacts-key-biological-data-resource-gets-rolled-out-over-everything from @emblebi and @GoogleAI on protein annotation. It's like data to knowledge augmentation on a global/all of life scale. Brilliant stuff. Congrats to @uniprot team and @GoogleAI group.
Ever got a result back saying uncharacterised protein? 😩
@uniprot and @GoogleAI have teamed up to create a natural language processing model that has generated over 40 million protein annotations to address this challenge.
