Long Post... 💪😎 Today, we’re celebrating Michael “Boom” Watkins Jr. as he steps away from THG to pursue an exciting new opportunity and begin the next chapter of his journey. And we couldn’t be more proud of him. For the past two years, Boom has been an incredibly important part of THG. Serving as our main tournament organizer, representing us as a competitor, helping shape and plan our events, and becoming one of the people we’ve trusted most to represent us. But our relationship with Boom goes back much further than THG. We’ve known him for more than 13+ years, and throughout that time we’ve watched him become someone the DMV fighting game community respects, trusts, and looks to as a leader. His impact on this region goes far beyond running brackets or putting together events. He has helped create experiences, build community, and set an example for the people around him. One of the things we’ve always wanted THG to be is a platform that helps talented people grow, create opportunities, and eventually reach something even bigger. Boom moving forward with a great opportunity is something worth celebrating. But this also isn’t goodbye.... He will continue doing what he has always done; putting on for the DMV FGC, supporting the community, and helping move the scene forward. While his time as a member of THG may be coming to a close, our relationship with Boom certainly isn’t. We look forward to continuing to work alongside him, support what he does, and hopefully create many more great things together in the future. More than anything, we want to say thank you. Thank you for everything you’ve done for THG, everything you've done for the FGC, and everything you continue to do for us and this community. We’re incredibly proud of Michael, grateful to have had him represent THG, and excited to see where this next opportunity takes him. 👹👺

We are still not finished assembling the Avengers of the DMV FGC... Now announcing... THG | @TropicTrickster 👹 TropicTrickster has established himself as one of the strongest Street Fighter 6 players in the DMV and one of the premier Manon players in the world. From winning events across the region, making deep tournament runs, and stepping onto major stages, he has continued to prove that he belongs among high level competition. What stands out to us just as much as the results is the mindset behind them. Tropic is constantly studying, reviewing his losses, refining his game, and looking for that next level. That hunger to improve, willingness to challenge himself, and commitment to representing the DMV is exactly the kind of player we want representing THG 👺 Welcome to The Hiero Group, TropicTrickster. Time for the next chapter...
