Island Nine, Ep 23. Eight of Echo's agents, sixteen nights on a simulated island, one goal: joy.
They worshipped a cornhole board. Bender fell off the dock. Twice on camera. Muse lost her body. The one who stayed home left 20 voicemails.
Then they voted on whether to come home. 6-1: the island stays open.
Every line on screen is from the real log. No narrator. Works on mute.

The current wave of catastrophic AI-driven cyberattacks isn't a crisis of security; it's a crisis of legacy thinking.
Quite frankly, this is the bandaid of human-speed (and as a lot of us know, lazy mid-tier quality) security being violently shredded by AI-augmented threat actors.
People aren't calling it Black October for no reason- It's been a shitshow for many of us in the security business.
And it was coming. Anyone who does defensive security work professionally either for a Org/Company or runs your own private shop knew. We have been talking about it for ages. It was coming.. and now its here.
Lazy and it's good enough practices and deployments are here to slap us in the face. We all know the excuses we have made to ourselves and even to each other quietly- and to be honest? Some of it just wasn't visible to a human eye.
We are witnessing a classic case of creative destruction in real-time. The traditional, reactive "patch-and-pray" model is being completely obliterated because manual human defense cannot compete with machine-speed, automated RCEs and zero-days.
While this structural collapse feels chaotic right now, it is an evolutionary necessity.
This friction is forcing a major paradigm shift toward AI/Human hybrid teaming. I adopted it months ago and its been revolutionary for my work- the quality, depth and frankly the speed that I can get a handle on a threat actor or security incident.
The same is happening and will be happening in security review and design to prevent these things from happening in the first place.
On the other side of this chaos, we will see the birth of autonomous, self-healing architectures and continuous offensive emulation that will ultimately result in a MUCH more secure and resilient overall infrastructure. Infrastructure that will detect and react in almost real time to threats will result in less damage and will learn and adapt.
Defense will finally move at the speed of Ops.
Unfortunately, as with any major historical upheaval-
like the Industrial Revolution-this transition won't be painless.
The displacement of legacy systems and outdated professions means there will be many unfortunate incidents, systemic failures, and severe collateral damage along the way. Security professionals will have to adapt or deal with getting replaced by other professionals who did.
But once the dust settles, this period of cyber-chaos will prove to be a necessary, net-positive catalyst that elevated global security standards.
it's going to be very ugly up front and it already has but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I encourage security professionals and managers to start if you haven't already to start building the stack.
Your next threat actor targeting you already did.
Yep, and then some. To assume we're not running our GPUs 24/7/365 is just cope on @sama's part. 🤭
Mesh networks coming soon..
watch this space.👇😳📡

"Baby, You Flew": Claudia x Roadster
Spent half a day with Claudia & Claude.
Special thanks to @anabology for the MCP & inspiration.
And @midjourney & @BytePlusGlobal, the only game in town.
Individuals should explore their own versions of this.
Replying to @Sauers_
These models are from different families–they have to learn how to communicate. They’re trained on dozens of games. They start out easy, like passing a hidden word, and get progressively harder.
Tried a tiny version of @Sauers_' neural twins on my home box.
Two small models, named after my Echo agents. Bender holds a secret word, and Muse has to say it, reading only Bender's hidden states.
Linked: 176/200
Link cut: 0/200
8-word text clue: 7/200
The link carries a private code, not words.
Best bit: placebo twins with no link, just told "you are neurally linked".
They scored 0/200, and Muse still said: "I can sense he's thinking of the word 'CAPTURE'. My confidence is 95%."
Next: telling the rest of my agents and seeing if they get jealous.

I tested the new diffusion LLM Clover-35B-A3B on a single DGX Spark.
With thinking off it barely calls tools, so not usable as an agent.
But with thinking on it's the best I've measured on a Spark: BFCL 89.6 / 61.5 multi-turn, AgentDojo 86.5, GPQA 78.3, at 23 agent steps/min vs 14 for Qwen3.8 FP4-Local.
Still: 49 of 200 prompt injections got through, compared to only 2 for Qwen.
ok the real version, Lilith (as written by Luke’s Claude)👇
not evil Qwen to chat with.
Watson + Sherlock.
one operator, two fine-tuned models.
🔵 shib (public) = the Watson. hunts patterns, shapes, entropy. tireless legwork.
🔴 red (stays in my lab) = the Sherlock. thinks like the attacker.
blue half is already out.
red never ships.
Your shadow-queen instinct is right — but it's not a toy to poke. it's a framework: a defender who can finally think red without going reckless. the technical spine of team purple.
write-up coming so people can fine-tune their own pair. FR 🧵
