Universal Edition mourns the death of Wolfgang Rihm
With Wolfgang Rihm, the music world loses a gifted composer and universal scholar, who was always concerned with the promotion of young talent.

Very sad to hear my former teacher Wolfgang Rihm has passed away. He was by far the biggest influence on my music and artistic world view. He was also a supremely lovely human being and this shone through in his music 😢
Spending some time with French composers while writing a new quartet for a French tour. #Boulez @carolinefrmus
