🚨🗣️Alan Shearer on Manchester United's hierarchy. 🗣️“They should be ashamed, because at this point there's no excuse for what's going on at the club. I'm not a Manchester United fan, but honestly, I'm ashamed of what I'm seeing. This is one of the biggest clubs in world football, and the standards have fallen far below what you'd expect. I think it's a matter of shame, to be honest, and the fans should take action, or else nothing will be done. The people running this club need to understand that Manchester United is bigger than any individual. You cannot keep making mistakes and expect the supporters to remain silent. What frustrates me most is that the same problems keep coming back. Managers change, players come and go, but the bigger questions about leadership, recruitment, and accountability remain. At some point, the hierarchy has to stop making excuses and start taking responsibility. The fans invest their money, their time, and their emotions into this club. They deserve more than promises and temporary solutions. If the people in charge genuinely care about Manchester United, then they need to prove it through their decisions. You cannot keep asking supporters to be patient while the club continues to fall short. Manchester United needs a clear direction, strong leadership, and people who understand the responsibility that comes with running such a historic institution.”

Whole thing is just a massive contradiction. Haters went from any decent manager wins the league with this team to the players are crap and we need open heart surgery in the exact same season 😂

Dermot Gallagher deserves an award for the amount of fence-sitting he does on Sky Sports The man will watch the most ridiculous officiating decision and still find a way to defend it.

Manchester United had 33 shots vs Ipswich today. The last time they had more in a Premier League match was in Oct 2016 (38 vs Burnley). That was 372 games ago.

Serie A is boring, defending-for-your-life football. They won't attack and leave space for the hoofball Amorim likes. Amorim's system will hit the same wall it always does. His team will be suffocated and ineffective. Who's the coward going to blame then?

Michael Carrick: “Some of it was okay, there's bits to improve on. It was never going to be perfect, but going behind and giving ourselves a lot to do makes it more difficult. It was a typical one of those games, with a newly-promoted team at home. You can't give them much, they've got a lot to hold on to. After that, we had moments and opportunities but we didn't have the spark to put the chances away or create any more. We're bitterly disappointed with the result, but we won't let it knock us.”

Nowt against Carrick but Ineos played a blinder there. Hiring a subservient/jobless club legend toyed on our emotions, & lying it was a temporary gig when they planned to hire him all along meant they never rated us. Ineos could call the window a day & Carrick won't say shit.
