Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and trade[XYZ] have announced their plan to use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US traders across crypto, equities, commodities, foreign exchange, and other real-world assets, subject to regulatory approvals. ICE operates NYSE and some of the largest exchanges and clearing houses globally.
In this structure:
+ Hyperliquid serves as the underlying technology infrastructure via HIP-3*
+ trade[XYZ] designs and implements the markets
+ ICE operates the regulated market and clearing structure
Existing trade[XYZ] HIP-3 markets will remain unchanged.
Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.
trade[XYZ] and ICE, owner of the New York Stock Exchange, are joining forces to bring 24/7 perpetual futures on Hyperliquid to the United States.
In just over a year, our markets on Hyperliquid have surpassed $650 billion in volume. They provide continuous price discovery for stocks, indices, and commodities, and have become trusted reference points for retail and institutions alike when traditional markets are closed. Much of the world trades them. Until now, Americans could only watch.
We intend to change that. Subject to CFTC approval, trade[XYZ] and ICE plan to establish a new, dedicated U.S. market, with novel exchange and clearing infrastructure built on Hyperliquid. Planned contracts span equities, indices, commodities, FX, and crypto, with access through participating brokers and platforms. We’ll share more on products, eligibility, and timing as approvals progress.
ICE brings more than 25 years of experience operating regulated markets, clearing, and managing risk. trade[XYZ] brings the product development, market design, and technology behind the most liquid and robust markets on Hyperliquid.
Innovation and the protections of U.S. regulation shouldn’t be a trade-off. Together, we plan to prove it.
ICE is making a strategic investment in trade[XYZ] and joins us in building towards the future of Hyperliquid. A small group of market luminaries is joining as well, beginning with Stan Druckenmiller. For more than four decades, few investors have anticipated the great turns in markets as often as Stan. We’re proud to have him with us for the next one.
We’re building the U.S. market in parallel with our existing HIP-3 markets, which we’ll continue to expand and innovate on. We expect both to flourish. They each have a long road map ahead, from new asset classes to new ways to trade them.
To the Hyperliquid community, whether you were here before us or came because of us, thank you. You took a chance on new markets and you made them matter. You’ll forever be a part of this story.
Anything. Anytime. On ICE[XYZ].

If you're looking at hyperliquid:native up 14% and wondering if you missed it, please consider that 99.9% of Americans do not know it exists. We exist inside a very unique bubble here on CT. We are just getting started.
Guys, with this horrendous altcoin price action
I am so beyond bullish hyperliquid:native
If somebody tells me that HYPE is going to 150,
I’m like, why are you bearish? Genuinely.
I don’t think you guys understand the level of who Stan Druckenmiller is.
I really don’t think you guys have realized what this news means for the future of Hyperliquid.
Overall, for the Hyperliquid ecosystem - the house of all finance, this dream is really becoming true.
I think it’s genuinely probably the greatest product to come out of crypto since Bitcoin.
My favorite part of this news: it’s something to look forward to.
It’s not just Trump saying something.
Well, okay, when this gets implemented, how many hedge funds will use it?
How many funds will actually allocate their liquidity and trade and invest on XYZ or Hyperliquid?
How many funds will do that and spend all that money, and all those fees that get bought back on Hyperliquid anyway?
It’s just… guys, GLHF is the best way to put it.
STAN USED HIS FIRST TWEET TO SHILL HYPERLIQUID TO TRADFI
HE HAS NEVER DONE THIS EVER

Sometimes it helps to think of trading like a business. Every business that lasts makes money because it provides something of value to someone who is willing to pay for it. In markets, that someone might be a hedger who needs to offload risk, a fund that is forced to rebalance or an impatient buyer who pays a spread for immediacy.
Most traders run this logic in reverse. It’s like opening a coffee shop because you love a particular street, then standing outside wondering why nobody comes in, instead of first finding where people actually want coffee and setting up there.
A business starts with the customer and the need and the location follows. Trading can work the same way, with the market chosen based on where the people paying for your service are.
I think most people approach market selection backwards. They start with what they want to trade (a coin, index, stock, whatever) and then try to force a signal out of it. The market comes first and the edge is something they hope to find afterward.
The better approach is to start with the effect you’re trying to capture. Ask what behavior you’re exploiting, whether that’s momentum, mean reversion, some structural flow, etc. and then ask where you would expect that effect to actually show up.
Universe selection matters as much as the signal and sometimes more. A mediocre signal applied to the right set of markets can beat a brilliant signal applied to the wrong ones. Where you trade can matter more than how you trade.

crypto is the only industry where getting "hacked" is a business model
fake the hack. stage a scene. dump the bundle. cry out and do it again.
see you at the next "mistake"

most ppl would make more money and have way fewer headaches if they just took a longer view. but everything around us is pushing the other way. fast, fast, fast, rotate, don't miss it
what being in a rush actually does, at least for me, is make me take more decisions. and every decision is one more chance to be wrong.
and with the number of tokens coming out now and how easy it is to buy them, the surface area for that just keeps growing
how i've tried to handle it, with mixed results so far this cycle:
core spot holdings that i refuse to touch. i don't even really think about them until conditions i set ahead of time get met. that's the anchor of the port
then a much smaller active book, whatever fits your risk, somewhere between zero and 20% of the port, for rotations, trades, the thing trending on the timeline. that's where the itch goes
if i notice myself whittling the active book down, that's my signal. park it back in the main bag if it's working and i think it keeps going, or in the second or third best idea.
then scale the active side way back. keep 5% or so live if i genuinely have to be in and out of stuff, and leave it there
none of this is complicated. the hard part is remembering to stick with the plan when times get good.
was going through a smart follower list today
checking account by account to find people with solid content actually worth following
then i realized at least 20% of them have been completely inactive for months, some up to 2 years
the eerie part - their last posts were completely normal
just standard commentary, charts, casual takes. no goodbye post, no announcement
they just logged off one day and never came back
