Amazing day at @cvi_phila 30th Annual Cardiology Update! Covered a variety of topics ranging from health equity, cardiac prevention, and pulmonary hypertension from our very own @anjalivaidyaMD. Also I now finally have a better approach to HFpEF diagnosis and management 😅
No difference in one year outcomes in DCD vs DBD transplant recipients. Feeling lucky to have trained at @vumccardsfit for HF and Transplant with this incredible group of people, and to have learned from this experience during fellowship!
Pleased to publish the largest single-center study on "Outcomes of Heart Transplant Donation After Circulatory Death" utilizing the Vanderbilt University Heart Transplant Database. No difference in one-year outcomes compared to DBD recipients!
