Dean and I cast our ballots at the Fisher’s Landing ballot box as a literal vote of confidence in the continued integrity and safety of Southwest Washington’s election system. With increased election security presence and diligent work by county election officials, depositing your ballot at a drop box location remains a safe and secure way to vote.  If you’ve already cast your ballot, you should check whether it’s been accepted at voter.votewa.gov. If you haven't voted yet, now is the time to make a plan and get it done -- return your ballot to a drop box by 8pm Tuesday! 🗣️🇺🇸

Every housing unit we build lowers the cost of finding a place to live and returns agency to the middle class. In Congress, I’m a cosponsor of the Yes In My Backyard Act (YIMBY) bill, which will prioritize federal dollars for communities that reduce the red tape limiting housing construction. I’m also a champion of getting shop class back in junior high. We’ll fix our housing shortage by reducing red tape, building more housing units, and ensuring young people learn the skills they need to build homes right here in Southwest Washington.
