TEXANS, this is important!
In the last session, our legislators passed a law that requires students to learn about the HORRORS of Communism. The law is needed sadly because our children have NOT been learning the TRUTH about Collectivism (whether Communism, Socialism, Marxism, DSA, etc), and I have proof of that based on what my own children have learned in public schools in TX.
I am reposting one example from
the curriculum that my oldest child was given in AP US History because TOMORROW you can sign speak at the upcoming TX SBOE meeting that will address HS Social Studies standards. We need Texans to speak up and demand that our children be taught accurate History!
Our children deserve to learn TRUTH, not Collectivist Propaganda. The battle for the future of America is going to be partly won in the classroom. Let’s not allow our tax dollars to pay for anything but accurate history 🙏🏻🇺🇸

My teen was taught in US History that under Capitalism, Classes are “strict w/ LIMITED mobility”, & that the poor are EXPLOITED with help from some. Socialism was presented as a more “FAIR & JUST” system. Hear my story at: youtube.com/live/SvSGRM8APMk… @Moms4Liberty @ConceptualJames
I just want to point out that the LARGEST donation to date that Gina Hinojosa has received is from the Teachers Union. Let that sink in. If she were to be elected, would she prioritize the best interest of children, or the political aspirations of the radical teachers unions?
🚨This is incredible news! The nation’s FIRST Detransition Clinic is now open in TX! Thank you @KenPaxtonTX for helping to make this happen 🙏🏻🗽@Moms4Liberty @TinaDescovich @cslape @jamiehinkle_ @denisebellhoutx @captivating_21 @CMooreFreedom @2fight4liberty @drbone4tx
🚨Today, Texas Children’s Hospital has officially launched their Detransition Clinic 🚨
Under the settlement, TCH must provide multidisciplinary detransition-related care FREE OF CHARGE for five years, including endocrinology, surgery, primary care, fertility counseling, mental health services, social work, and speech pathology.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude once again to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and my attorneys at the Burke Law Group for their extraordinary dedication, sacrifice, and tireless efforts throughout this fight. Their commitment helped turn a painful and difficult chapter into an opportunity for meaningful change. @KenPaxtonTX @BurkeLawTweets
I think of all the detransitioners who have suffered in silence, been dismissed, and fought desperately to have their voices heard. This win is for them.
I hope TCH’s admirable effort to fund and launch Americas first detransition clinic becomes a turning point for the entire country. That this clinic is not the exception, but the first of many.
Today’s a good day. ❤️

Grateful that in the state of TX, we now have a law that better protects children from “social transition” in our schools. But, each election cycle puts previous good legislation at risk. If you have not voted yet, the time is NOW! Vote to protect children, & parental rights!
Gina Hinojosa voted in favor of schools transitioning students behind parents’ backs, for sex change surgeries for kids, and for boys competing in girls’ sports -- all radical policies that Governor Abbott has fought against.
Parents should be the primary decision makers in their children’s lives. Governor Abbott understands that simple truth, and so do Texans.

Investigative journalism has exposed more failures in our education system, while the education establishment has defended the status quo.
Now parents are asking those same questions. And the more we know, the more we can demand better.
Education should serve children, not politics, ideology, or institutions.
The second season of ‘Sold a Story,’ a podcast about education, opens in 1966 in an Illinois classroom. The teacher is a former Chicago marketing executive named Siegfried Engelmann. Before him sit seven Black children. He calls out arithmetic questions and they answer together, as is the norm in direct instruction, the teaching method Engelmann pioneered. The lesson moves on to algebra. The children keep pace. Then the creator and host of the podcast, Emily Hanford, cuts in. The children, she notes, are in preschool.
Sixty years later, we have UC Berkeley math teaching professor Zvezdelina Stankova complaining, in a San Francisco ‘Standard’ op-ed that went viral this summer, that students at the University of California’s flagship campus were struggling with “fractions and basic algebra you would expect students to learn in middle school.” What happened?
A year after Engelmann showed off his method in a recorded half-hour lesson, President Lyndon B. Johnson instructed education officials in his administration to evaluate the best way to teach poor children. They landed on Engelmann’s direct instruction — but it was never implemented nationwide. The reason was Engelmann’s “militaristic” approach to education, as the education writer Alfie Kohn explained in his criticism of direct instruction, which he said is today favored by “right-wing activists” who “wanted to make sure that learning itself is conceived as a fundamentally passive process.” Engelmann’s supporters’ politics were off, which meant his ideas were bad. And since Kohn gave this assessment in 2022, it seems that little has changed.

🚨Parents in Tomball ISD! While we did not have an opportunity to endorse a candidate for your school board election, we are very excited to see Lacey Derrington run in Position 1. She stands for transparency, accountability, academic excellence, & parental rights!🗽@moms_joco
🚨TEXANS! Have you voted yet? If not, VOTE TODAY! If you need more info on candidates, a good resource is our SCOREVOTES, which shows how TX Legislators voted on parental rights issues last session. I’ll list a few examples in comments. 🗽@cslape @denisebellhoutx @Moms4Liberty
Example 1: Gina Hinojosa’s parental rights legislation “score” based on the last TX Legislative session is a “F”.

This is pretty funny. Imagine being upset that parents are using technology to be aware of what school districts are planning to discuss & vote on in a meeting.

This is absolutely horrific. Parents, please read and understand how dangerous this is. @MaryBowdenMD @TFVCRebecca
I'm a Board Certified anesthesiologist and have been in practice for 24 years. I just learned that the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where I trained has launched a program to increase flu vaccine uptake among children by vaccinating them while under anesthesia.
The program is called "Close your Eyes. We'll Immunize"
This is stunningly irresponsible. Here's why:
Anesthetists are extremely risk avoidant and endeavor to minimize patient exposure to anything which carries potential side effects. This is particularly true of pediatric patients who very often have never been exposed to anesthetic medications. We simply cannot know how an individual child will respond to these drugs for the first time.
Every single medication we administer during an operation can potentially trigger untoward or allergic responses. When this occurs our primary responsibility is to stabilize the patient. Our secondary responsibility is to identify the offending agent. There is absolutely no justification of introducing another agent, in this case a flu vaccine, which carries a risk of harm and contributes nothing to the success of the operation.
Some of the more common side effects of flu vaccines are fever (11-16%) and less commonly, a rash (1%). There is also an non-zero risk of severe allergic reactions and high-grade fevers which can develop over the course of minutes.
What if a child under anesthesia receives a vaccine and develops a rash and/or fever? Is it from the antibiotic that the surgeon requested? Is it from the narcotic? The anxiolytic? The barbiturate?
Anesthetic gases can also (rarely) trigger a life threatening response called Malignant Hyperthermia which commonly presents as a high fever. Without subsequent testing we cannot know which agent was responsible. Most commonly the testing is never done and the child’s record will forever reflect the possibility that some or all of the drugs which were used are responsible for their reaction. This makes future anesthetic care significantly more challenging and will require the use of alternatives which may not be necessary.
Advocating for a flu vaccine while a child is anesthetized reflects the pervasive yet inaccurate attitude among the medical establishment that vaccines are perfectly safe. I simply cannot believe that my mentors would have ever supported this initiative when I was a resident there. Close your eyes indeed.
Texascommunist.org is the Texas arm of the Communist Party USA. In case you are wondering, here’s what you find on their web site. Note that the words “Socialism” & “democracy” appear right at the top of the page. 🧵
Continued: “Join the party, and your work in other organizations stops being a mitigation. Together, we are going to dismantle the machinery of exploitation and lift the world out of barbarism.”
Again, note the language they are using.
This part of their webpage is hard to read, but it’s important. “CPUSA is the only organization whose entire reason for being is to transfer power out of the hands of the unelected few and into the democratic control of all. Without that fight, every local win is temporary.
They admit to unifying. Unfortunately, they have had success with lots of different people and groups.
