You don’t have to play football if you out battle, jump, & run the opponents. Two set plays and a break away makes March worthy winners. Meanwhile, Soham lads must learn. Seth O’Neill set the standard others didn’t reach. Tough game V rejuvenated Stowmarket to come next. cOYG

A word for @Luiscowie10 and his rotten luck. He deserves a break as there is s real player in there if he can stay fit. Keep your head up Luis, we believe in you

Good luck to all @SohamTownRanger for a successful season starting officially tomorrow. Welcome new players and returning ones. Just one kick better than last season is all we ask. See you at Heacham

Great win for @SohamTownRanger today. Pope, O’neil, harvey, Baker, Rose and Ward exceptional, others good. Management strong and positive. Bring on next week, and hope Cowie catches a break. He deserves one! Congrats to all involved

The season hasn’t long left but still a twist or two to come. Dreadful game when defenders whack the ball as far as they can! That meant @mason_newman fighting three 6ft4 c/backs! Squad light admittedly but didn’t help ourselves in poor game. Win next week and p/offs g’teed

Not to be for @SohamTownRanger but thanks to all involved for the hope and excellence en route to the final. Ridiculous Red for the dynamic Marcus Cole. I hope he is not badly hurt as having a wonderful season. Still plenty to play for and the Fen Classico next up!

Its time to say goodbye to my lifetime hero today. Always smiling, he is the reason I exit, I am who I am, and we will miss him forever. Rest well dad The time we went to a test match with the flag he made for Bumble Lloyd but forgot the M to celebrate Buble!

Would like to thank all @SohamTownRanger for the manor and respect shown to our Dad yesterday. It was perfectly done and a fitting tribute. Well done all involved.

Anyone else find the term ‘project’, when referring to a football club disrespectful? It highlights short term thinking and has zero respect to life long fans.

What a honey moon its been but Utd poor tonight. Newcastle deserved victors. Now that is said the level of play acting, poor tackles and stupid passes far to high for this level. About to watch MOTD and all-in grapple fest in most games. Don’t enjoy this current trend

Lost my Dad this morning and cant sleep. Overcome with love and smiles as I recall his antics and stories of a wonderful life well lived. Rest well dad. You remain my hero and I will forever be grateful for your sacrifices, hard work and love.

Brilliant day @LincolnCity_FC yesterday. Proper game, proper stadium and terrific support. Showed what football can be to players, coaches and supporters and wider to a receptive community. Well Done all involved

Great day for @SohamTownRanger with s strong away support. To beat Haverhill 4-2 doesn’t tell the full story. Pitch about playable, added to throwback style of game built on attack. Soham played the better football, created the better chances & deserved the win. What a run in!

Spread the news to all that were about in 1991. res won Isle of Ely cup and first team won the Cambs invitation cup. Lets have a beer or two and talk of the good days.
