When those against you resort to school-yard name-calling (without the cleverness and humor of the eighth-grade spirit), you know they have neither the intelligence nor the ability to take you on substantively.

This chart is insane. This shows Russia's casualties over time compared to Russia's territorial gains in Ukraine over the last five years. No sane or rational person would say continuing the war to try and take more of Ukraine's territory is worth the casualties.

This guy is a devout Christian who was granted protection from his home country because Islamist terrorists are trying to institute sharia law. He's lived here half his life. He's married to an American & has American kids. This is not who the government should be targeting.
A Texas father who had lived in the U.S. for 25 years with no criminal record was finishing his night shift as an Uber driver when immigration agents detained him. Without being able to speak to his lawyer or a judge, he was put on a plane and sent first to Ghana, a country where he had no ties. He was then sent to his home country, despite a determination by a U.S. immigration court judge that he could not be deported there due to likely persecution. cbsn.ws/3Ude66r

This is the resonable position of responsible Americans. If you are not a hardened criminal and you want to be an American and earn your way (and perhaps have American family members), then there should be a lawful process for you to become a citizen
Why are we even debating whether a man of good character with an American wife and American kids "belongs" in America? Of course he does. If the law doesn't welcome that, it's a bad law and it should be changed. what are we even doing here lol

"This has been a terrible experience for his family." Yes, and now think of how many mistakes ICE/DHS make if this do this to someone innocent? Think how how it is destructive to families when you don't go after "the worst of the worst," as the Admin said they would
Earlier this week, our dear brother Samuel Sey @SlowToWrite was en route to appear on our podcast when he got detained by ICE. Samuel is from Canada, and has been living here as a legal resident of the United States. We are confident this clerical mistake will be fixed, but this has been a terrible experience for his family. Please consider supporting his lovely wife Annie and their three small children as they deal with the legal and living expenses of this terrible ordeal. If you know Samuel, you know what a good man of character he is. So many of us have been blessed by his writing and ministry. Please help! givesendgo.com/support-for-s…

Voters are always free to consider a candidate's religious practice and beliefs (or lack thereof), their personal integrity, etc. Doing so is perfectly normal, and hardly a violation of religious liberty.

TRUMP on HIGH GAS PRICES: We’re making money like we’ve never made before. They’ll say: President Trump is bragging about all the money they're making while people are suffering at the pump. I don’t give a damn. We’re making a freaking fortune.

I look forward to to hearing how the “blame NATO” camp explains this:
Russian President Vladimir Putin cited genetics to declare that Russians and Ukrainians are “one people” and reiterated his claim to Ukrainian territory, saying: “I think that it is not their territory but the historical territory of Russia.” wapo.st/48aZaZF

It's hilarious how Western Russia apologists keep on insisting this is all about NATO and then Putin just goes out and says "no actually we're imperialist" on a regular basis.
Putin on Ukraine: The lands lost by Kyiv are not "their territory"; they are historically Russian lands.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Kyiv predates Moscow by centuries, and southern/eastern Ukraine was ruled by the Cossack Hetmanate and Crimean Khanate long before 18th-century Russian Imperial annexation. In 1991, every Ukrainian region voted overwhelmingly for independence, recognized by Russia 1994. britannica.com/place/Ukraine/… treaties.un.org/Pages/showDeta…

Ukrainians keep showing enormous courage in defending their country against Putin’s immoral and indeed evil efforts to conquer a neighbor. They have resisted now for four years and eight months and we should do all we can to help them.

He could say the stupidest things...
Trump, 11 days before the midterms: You know, today when you buy a door, it's called 'hollow.' You buy hollow doors. If you pull too hard, the whole door collapses. You knock on it and it sounds like crap. If you're of average strength, the entire door collapses.

Sounds like a call for empathy for someone that got caught up in a system that is neglecting due process and falling short of justice, and in the process separating people from their families. If it's fine to call for empathy for Samuel Sey, why not for others?
I’m not at liberty to share all the details, but suffice it to say that many people rejoicing over this have given a completely incorrect rendering of what occurred and why. ICE did not come to his home. This whole thing is a paperwork issue that they’re working to resolve. Samuel Sey is a good man. As you can imagine, his wife, who’s at home with their 3 babies, is devastated and also trusting the Lord to help them find a resolution quickly. Please pray for all of the Seys. Pray for wisdom and provision. Those celebrating because they don’t like something Sam said are slanderous backbiters and gossips. Pay them no mind

Our intuition tells us that a giant planet like Jupiter - standing at 11 times the diameter of Earth and more than 300 times its mass - should spin far more slowly than Earth. But the opposite is true: a Jupiter day is only 9.9 Earth hours. That rapid spin is a remnant of Jupiter’s formation long ago. When a newly-forming planet gathers up gaseous material, it gravitationally contracts as it slowly spins in some net direction. As this material falls inward, its spin rate increases due to conservation of angular momentum, much like a twirling figure skater spins faster as she pulls her arms inward. The giant planets, like Jupiter and Saturn, retained a lot more of this angular momentum than the terrestrial planets, like Earth and Mars, which were more influenced by heavy impacts. Jupiter is not a solid sphere, like the terrestrial planets, but is essentially a giant ball of gas, like the much larger Sun. So, Jupiter rotates differentially, just like the Sun, spinning fastest near its equator and slower near its poles. Measurements of Jupiter’s magnetic field tell us its interior - where layers of metallic hydrogen may surround a slushy rock/ice core - rotates more rigidly and a little more slowly than its surface. Majestic Jupiter is one of my favorite planets. The ancient Romans were equally impressed with it. They saw this bright wandering object in the sky and named it after their chief god - the “sky father.” But this chief of the planets was made by the true Father of the sky, who is infinitely greater than any god or object in the universe. As David wrote in Psalm 19, “The heavens declare the glory of God, and the skies proclaim the work of his hands.”
