โIf youโre wondering what weโre doing up here on X, itโs alchemy baby. Itโs alchemy.โ

I turned that Dylan Thomas line into a song in 2019.
For me, the โlightโ is freedom of speech. And the question still stands:
โWhatโs the penalty or the price of dissent?โ

Marc Andreessen explains why AI might be the end of James Burnham's "managerial society"
In his book The Managerial Revolution, Burnham divided capitalism into two phases.
The first phase was what he called "bourgeois capitalism"
"Think of this as name on the door -- it's Ford Motor Company because Henry Ford runs the company. It's a dictatorial model and Henry Ford just tells everyone what to do. He said the problem with bourgeois capitalism is it doesn't scale because Henry Ford can only tell so many people to do so many things."
The second phase was what Burnham called "managerial capitalism", which was Marc describes as, "the creation of a professional class of managers that are trained -- not to be car experts or experts in any particular field but to be experts in management. And then that led to business schools and management consultant firms and all these things."
Marc continues:
"You look at every big company today and most executives at most of the Fortune 500 companies are not domain experts in whatever the company does. And they're certainly not the founders of those companies. They're professional managers. And in fact, over the course of their careers, they'll probably manage many different kinds of businesses. They might work in healthcare for a while and then work in financial services and then go work in something else."
"What Burnham said was that transition was absolutely required because the problem with bourgeois capitalism is it doesn't scale... So if you're going to run capitalist enterprises that are going to have millions to billions of customers, they're going to be operating at a level of scale and complexity that will require this professional management class."
Burnham acknowledged that this professional management class has its downsides -- they're not as inventive and not going to come up with the next breakthrough. But whether you think that's good or bad, that's what's going to be required.
And basically that's what happened. Marc continues:
"Managerialism basically took over everything. What I'm describing is basically how all big companies run and how all governments run and how our large-scale non-profits run."
Marc believes venture capital is a protest movement to that -- backing founders under the Henry Ford model, and trying to find the next Elon Musk or Steve Jobs who can out-innovate the incumbents.
"I've always viewed my entire life as: we're raging against the dying of the light. We're constantly trying to fight off managerialism from swamping everything and everything getting boring, gray, dumb, and old."
But AI may now offer a third model. Marc explains:
"Maybe the new Henry Ford, Elon Musk, or Steve Jobs + AI is the best of both because it's the spark of genius of the name on the door model but gives that person AI superpowers to do all the managerial stuff... What's the thing these bots are really good at? They're really good at doing paperwork, writing reports, and doing all the managerial work."
"The challenge is going to be for the innovators to figure out how to leverage AI to actually do this."
"The other challenge is going to be for the incumbents that are managerial to figure out: what does that mean? Because now they're going to be facing a different kind of insurgent competitor that has a different set of capabilities than they're used to."
"I think this is going to force a lot of big companies to figure out innovation - figure out innovation or die trying."
Ben Horowitz elaborates on this point further in his article Databricks & the Future Firm below.

The Solar Wind Report lands for issue 6.
I do think we go from agents testing the rails to real volume soon.
Time will tell.
Matt Damon plays Odysseus in Christopher Nolanโs The Odyssey.
In Homerโs epic, Odysseus famously outwits the Cyclops by calling himself โNobody.โ
Now, as fate would have it, Matt Damon is a keynote speaker at Ripple Swell 2026.
Odysseus. Nobody. Ripple.
Probably nothing. ๐
Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.

I think that's one example of the mechanism I'm talking about. XRP has other advantages on XRPL too. It's the only counterparty-free asset that any account can accept. People have to hold it to pay fees. All of those things can help drive value and demand.

The thesis is this: Low fees and reliable operation make XRPL a great place to move and hold value. That drives value flow to XRPL. XRP captures some of that value because of its unique advantages over other assets on XRPL.
You are inside a movie projected by the sun. Operated by what we call โplanetsโ.
Once you understand this, your next day wake will surprise you.
Time travelling is not a distinct object, but you.
You are the car, the key, the heart to time travelling.
What is observed to us at all time is the present. The past and future only take place in the mind.
One can switch timelines but changing your perspective on a past and future event. The heart (The Car) dictates which timeline you jump to depending on the perspective and feeling your heart (the car) feels as true.
Now I need all 144000 to understand you are a star casted in a galactic movie.
The visible stars at night are all you. You got casted in a movie you forgot you signed up for.
Stars are just flowing interchangeable geometry patterns. To us we call it water.
What we call planets are actually just the perfect mechanism to make this movie play.
When the stars fall to earth that is when all get revealed and you are now integrated into a newer being.
We are an intergalactic lab projects.
Getting watched by many species.
But thankfully the movie has ended. We will now integrate with our star in the sky and bring heaven on earth.
The same big star that projected our movie is now going to mirror our newer self.
Human body + star = SuperStar. Aka SuperNova.
Sirius the brightest star becomes a supernova.
You are a super star.
The self free of all because it realized the cage was never there to keep it limited.
