A true Legend both on and off the pitch. RIP Knightsie, you will be missed #pompey
Portsmouth Football Club are devastated to announce the passing of Alan Knight at the age of 65, surrounded by his close family.
The Pompey legend – who served the club as a goalkeeper, coach and ambassador – passed away this morning following a battle with prostate cancer.
He will be sadly missed by the Fratton faithful, teammates and all of us at the club who knew and loved him.
Rest in peace, Knightsie. 💙

Sorry, but thinking the first half was the problem tonight and the second half was better is why we are struggling. Whole performance, nowhere near good enough!! #pompey
Top 3 words used in a Rachel Reeves interview- previous, inheritance, last - yawn #BBCLauraK
It’s about time the @EFL or @FA or @FA_PGMOL or whatever bunch of self important box tickers stopped worrying about things like this and started worrying about the quality of refereeing in the leagues below the Premier. And don’t start on VAR thats ruining football too #pompey
#Pompey fined £50k and given a warning for the pitch invasion at the Barnsley game last season
What a signing Callum Lang has been for us. Ever since that debut at Oxford at the start of the year, to all four goals today. Still can’t get my head round why Wigan let him go. Glad they did mind #pompey

"Words just seem hollow and inadequate in such circumstances and all we can try and do is provide some crumb of comfort by trying to exhibit the warmth and respect in which John and his family are held."
We are all thinking of you, John ❤️

WHAT AN EXCITING HORSE! 🤩
TREASURE TIME delivers on his abundant promise & registers a first career success! He travelled smoothly to score over 7f @NewmarketRace under a great ride from @CierenFallonJr! 👏💥
A huge well done to all of his owners 👏
Sad state of football’s rules when the guy scores a ‘Roy of the Rovers’ dream goal at the end today only to get sent off. #EmiratesFACup
