This is the easiest petition I’ve ever signed and it could save jobs and keep a a true bright spot for the community operating.
This month, Chicago Public Media laid off 14 staffers — and dramatically cut @WBEZ's podcast unit and
@Vocalo.

A common theme amongst the Big 3 (J. Cole, Drake & Kendrick) is fans always connect deepest to their album cuts.
Singles are important to generate attention to an artist and their catalogue, and a lot of artists now are known for a song or two that are big on TikTok.
But are those people invested in your story & catalogue? 🤔
With the The Big 3, you could argue that it’s the complete opposite. They put a lot of care and detail into their album cuts, where they tell stories that resonate deeply with their audience.
Moral of the story… singles will bring attention and relevance, but complete bodies of work will build devoted fan bases.
If you find a new song you like, check out the rest of the artist’s music. You never know what you’ll find ☝️

ScHoolboy Q speaks on Isaiah Rashad being a “perfect artist” :
“He’s one of the most perfect artists to ever exist. Like when it comes to song structure, when it comes to songwriting, when it comes to soul, when it comes to ‘that’ thing, when I hear Zay, he just has something [about him] that I’ll never have.”
